I'm exactly in your situation but i guess mine is easier because after i found out and made up my mind to end it, i did not break up with her right away. I started pulling away slowly and after about 3 months, i ended it. It kinda softened the blow.

Since then, I've had my bros and work to fall back on. If I'm not working, i'm chilling with a couple of them and they know so once i call them up, they are always ready to hang.

That's just it.. Time will make you forget. It always does but NEVER EVER call her up.

You working in same place with her makes it tricky but man, you just gotta do what you have to do. Just remember this, she's not your enemy, just a girl you used to know.

Bro, first, you have to understand that you may never stop loving a person whom you truly love. So, don't even be in a rush to move on. Cry if you want to cry, kick things if you want to, be stupid if you want to. Just don't form hard guy hard guy. By the time you discover that you have been consistently crying and doing some stupid shits, you would pause and ask yourself "wait, was I this stupid" for a cheating hoe? Oh damn!

Secondly, while rushing into a relationship might help you on the SHORT RUN, just be waiting for the day you will find yourself in a worse situation as regarding your ex. My point is, never rush into a relationship thinking it would make feel better and help you move on. No, it won't. Instead, live with yourself, family and friends, love yourself, do those things you couldn't do back then, develop a new hobby, talent or specialty, read books, watch movies especially love movies.

Thirdly, I would have suggested you cut every tie to your ex but you said you are colleagues. Now, you just have to do the opposite. Be her friend, greet her, smile at her, appreciate her, be yourself around her. Before you know it, she will return to being one random girl at your workplace. If you don't believe this logic, lemme quickly remind you that your ex has been flawlessly doing all these to you and they hit you so hard in your heart.

Fourthly, never imagine yourself with her in the future. Stop fantasising about what you both could have achieved together. Na rubbish thinking be that.

Lastly, be very optimistic, forgive her and yourself. Open your mind to new possibilities. Bear in mind that there are way more beautiful girls, well-behaved girls than her. Nothing wrong in fcking some random girls but if you are too holy for that, take girls you think can be fitting out and enjoy life.
