Im a full member of winners chapel. The emphasies on materialism over spirituality is just alarming especially in large congregations.
What helps my christian journey are my early years in Deeper life where l was baptized.

For I can remember the first time I was yet trying to find a church to settle in that would be able to cater for my spiritual needs, which took to the Abuja headquarters at the time. But my experience in the service was so disappointing that I wondered if this was a church or something else. For it was one blessing after the other, and the whole church would say a resounding amen, that after the service I had to ask the person who attended to first timers, why so much blessings?

And she tried to explain to me that it was scriptural but to me that just ruled out the church from my list of churches to choose from, because it wasn't the kind of church that could serve the purpose for which I wanted to become a part of any church which was spiritually inclined.

I won't blame anyone who castigates Winners Chapel, because I did worse. If anyone had told me I wld become a winner I wld ve spat on his face. Mention Winners and all I hear is Jet. Money and Fame. I felt it was a sin for the children of God to live well.

I used to think they were not serious Christians and all they talk abt is money. I thought they were Wordless and prayerless carnal Christians until I was invited to attend a WOFBI graduation service there, which I grudgingly attended. But, the service was lively. So I went again, and again, and again.

I found myself alternating my church then and Winners Chapel. I'd go to Winners Chapel First service and go to mind afterwards. I eventually decided to leave my Church and be serious in winner as I don't do anything passively.

When I joined their workforce was when I discovered that, as a Winner, if wasn't careful, I'll be going to Church every blessed day. for there's Church service every day. Morning and evening. In the morning One Hour, 6 to 7 a.m Covenant Hour of Prayer, in the evening, Prayer raids. Evangelism is every day.

Fasting in Winners Chapel? You go ready o. Prayer? You go ready o. No be moimoi.

The Urgency of the return of Christ is shut into your bones. They make you feel guilty if any souls gets lost when you had the chance to reach it with the gospel. If you walk passed someone you'd feel responsible if anything happened to that soul you shd ve saved by sharing Christ.

Who said Winners Chapel does not preach Rapture or Salvation? If they don't, the On going Revival is for what? How is it maintained?

Operation By All Means was just concluded, where we went to any length to reach the lost.

Use your money to pay Tfare for New Converts. We hire buses to convey them to church. If they complain of food, we provide. We built low cost houses for them and pay their kid's schools fees.

During the week, those who can, gather in Church in the day time praying for the harvest of the lost souls, while some go out into rhe field to reap these souls, taking their names and phone numbers. On Saturday mornings, we gather in Church calling and inviting them to church service the next day. We go on to follow them up and plant them in Home Cells. We follow them up to house visitations. Which Church in Nigeria is doing this?

This year we have a goal to plant 5000 Churches, we have planted 3000 already and have sent Evangelists to man them. Before December, we shall plant the remaining 2000.

Today was Mid-week service, you'd think it's a Sunday service. Crowd. Souls are being saved, people are getting delivered from satanic operations and are healed. You hear Testimonies that are hard to believe but undeniable.

We don't focus on satan, he is too small to have our attention. We are the redeemed. We focus on why Christ died, and what He accomplished for us by virtue of his victory on the cross.

Anyone can stand outside and look in through the window, but all they'd see is what they had conceived in their minds abt Winners Chapel. I did same anyway.

I don't know which branch of Winners she's referring to but in all the ones I have been, the people dress moderately and decently. Of course you get the occasional over or under dresser but thats an exception not the rule.

As for the hell, heaven and rapture part though she is correct. I haven't heard a message on rapture, heaven or hell for a long while in the Winners I attend. If I remember correctly its been years even.

As far as I know, they preach repentance, salvation almost all services and also preach restitution from time to time. Maybe they don't declare a whole month exclusively for those but they do preach them. for me, rapture when preached often is a doctrine for holier than thou churches. I go for sanctification over rapture.
