Boss, Either Nigerians- African or Asian- I believe we taught them how we should be treated.

If you're not aware , Indians / Asians have access to Foreign Education student loan - once this loan is approved and the school is notified , restrictions or certain requirements won't apply to them.

In the late 90s and early 2000, a lot of Nigerians got asylum in Ireland and then moved on to bring a lot of related and unrelated family members (Chain migration), so my point is they've been lenient in the past and if anyone is looking to move out of Nigeria just follow all legit rules and guidelines , either for Ireland or any other country- simple.

I hope Ireland is treating you fairly? wishing you success

Hi Boss ICaSNG, You are right as regards what you said about the Indians/Asians. @Asylum, I've met a lot of them and heard their stories. Really funny and amazing that the chain migration was successful in most cases. @bolded, summarizes it all. But regarding the moniker, the full tuition is the college's policy and not the embassy's. As you know, there are some Unis that require at least 50 -60% payment of the tuition and applicants of such Unis still get their visa issued in most cases. I still believe his app will end with a positive outcome.

So far so good. No regret coming here. has it been easy? No. But then, I'm grateful. Much thanks for the wish. Wish you success in your biz too.

Regards

Are you using your personal account for the application, If so, you need to explain how you earn the funds in your acc and since your business is not registered, its still possible to use it like that, but there are ways around it, they understand not all private businesses are registered or you should do the bond account to save you the stress.... With that, you wont be needing everything you stated

No my dad is the sponsor.

Thanks for the advice
I appreciate

I know of one applicant that submitted at Abuja Embassy, but due to the volume of applications, the embassy forwarded her application to their headquarters in Dublin for processing and she got her visa

Looked through all the pdfs in the http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/Visa%20Decisions

Looks legit. Found mine

But also means they forwarded the applications late.

Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Zubby101: 11:38pm On Aug 21, 2019
I called the Abuja Consulate last week and they told me my application was forwarded to Dublin.

I asked them if this was standard procedure, but they said it was because of the sheer volume of applications.

If you do check your reference, email the HQ at Dublin to inquire further visamail@justice.ie.

Woww so they actually sent applications to Dublin. According to that website they're processing applications sent before July 25.

Ireland is trying to rebrand it's international image and become a major education hub. It's strange how they're visa process doesn't seem to have adapted much.

The reference form was generated when you filled that study visa form online. It's also on that application summary page we submitted.

However, if you don't remember, call the embassy. They are only available 9am -12pm. So you need to time that call. Ask about your application and that you don't remember your reference, you can give other details like your passport number and your Name and they will help you retrieve it.

Guy the embassy drops list of approved visas weekly.
My number came up on the 13/08/19 - 19/08/19 batch. Bear in mind I submitted 1/07/19.
I haven't gotten the visa. I don't even know if it has left Dublin yet. Just check the site.

I just contacted the visa office in Dublin and was told my application is being processed in Abuja. The Ireland embassy in Abuja confirmed this. So guess its not all applications that are being sent to Dublin. The number of students going to Ireland increased this year.

Visa Issued.

Everything returned intact(Originals) except my statement of Purpose.

Applied on the 26th of June.

I pray that the good thing that the Lord has done for me, will also be transferred to all those waiting for a Visa.

Cheers
