Hi guys, I've been keen on learning Web Development for a while now and I just begun. I'm treading the path of self tutoring which I think is quite interesting. I've started with html. When I'm done with this, I'll move to CSS, then bootstrap, then javascript, PHP and the rest. I also plan to delve into app development later on but let's take it one step at a time.

I think starting this thread will help me tighten my seat belt and I could also make use of one or two words from experienced developers here. Who says one must have physical meeting with a mentor? Offline or online, meeting na meeting.

I learnt a few things today. Virtually the whole outline though. I'm yet to get my head around HTML Geolocation, drag/drop, local storage, app cache, Web workers & sse

Ps: I'm using a phone pending when I get a new battery for my laptop.

We offer it remotely using Skype for calls and screen sharing and in some case we have to code with the student we use teamviewer app to access the student laptop to help.
