Visiting Niger State For The First Time. by Huncho19: 5:54pm On Sep 05, 2019
Good day house, please I would be visiting Minna in Niger state for the first time and I would be spending min of 4 days.
I would like to leave most preferrably on the 11th.. it would be most appreciated if I can get the best ways to travel there either by flight or road. I would also appreciate if I can get hotel recommendations. Thanks.

No direct flight to minna no matter wia you are coming from any part of this word, but you can still get flight to abuja get a cab to suleja and from dia you can get direct to minna, once you get a car coming to minna, just tell the driver, doko hotel after "city gate".

Thanks so much for your response, would have preferred flight for safety reasons.

No commercial flights to and from Minna only chartered flights. Minna is close to Abuja and Ilorin Airports.

Thanks so much. But does that mean MXJ isn't functional?

not true! overland airways flies lagos/ilorin/minna/abuja thrice weekly. i have flown with them so i'm talking from experience. however, @op, if you want to come by road (i assume you are coming in from lagos seeing that you didn't mention your current location), best bet is peace mass transit or NSTA from oyingbo/otto. the road is relatively good most of the way and travel time is approximately 9 hours barring traffic hold-ups. there are several relatively good hotels (haske hotels, aloe vera hotels etc) and they are cheap too (from N6k upwards), however, if your budget is known, i can recommend one.

Still sound pretty fair, I think I'm okay with this. I'll just have to settle for road cause it seems there are no direct flights. The hotels you mentioned seem fair.
And yes, I'm coming from Lagos LOS.

I suggest you call this number first to confirm 08035355011. That's the phone number for their minna office.
