Top state that can’t pay salary. What a comedian.
how many months salary are workers owed in Delta? how many states in Nigeria can completely pay salary?

There is a lot of money to be made here in Delta but in terms of development the state is a complete zero and nothing to write home about. In short the governor should be hanged!

Then Why are you claiming Lagos will crumble without seaport when you have seaport and oyel money but are backward and worse than Ekiti. Instead of telling your governor the truth you are here dancing like tolotolo. Trying to cover their incompetence by blaming other states and trying to undermine their achievements.

Is it the same Ekiti that everywhere is brown roof. Look for another argument

Eventually if you ask the stupid governors to account for all the funds, they will start spitting rubbish like the state had lotta debt on ground before they took over. No state should be suffering with this huge amount plus the IGR, provided we have sensible government.Evil and wicked bastards.

Even Ekiti looks better than Delta state. Shame! With all the oyel money and NDDC since 19 gbogboro. If SW had such funds, you will see the difference. Your governors are just chopping your head. Instead of you to face them you will be hating on Lagos as a way to make you feel better. grin

Which Ekiti, the one in your dreams. Apart from Lagos no other state in SW can compete with Delta. Brown Roof Everywhere....

Even with their brown roof they have better infrastructure and it’s better planned than Delta. Small Ekiti. So that means your governors are not spending even up to half of Ekiti’s allocation in the state. They are even oweing salary. You no get shame at all.

Sure...
Two failed States Delta & Bayelsa make up the list.

Imaging see the amount received allocated to Bayelsa yet the state growth still look like outskirt environment.

I just pray & hope that the new governor will be technocrat.

This question is probably the dumbest question on nairaland
Is this because of ipob propaganda?
Osun and ekiti have one of the lowest poverty rates in Nigeria
Better don't believe propaganda on nairaland
Rubbish
Not to talk of ogun
who actually made the poverty ranking?
I will believe you if I had not been to osun.
I will advise you to travel to other zone so you can know how stupid you are for believing the southwest propaganda media. of all the state I have been to, osun and bayelsa happen to be the face of poverty and underdevelopment

Delta state is not under developed compared to the rest states on the list. Bayelsa looks like a village, Akwa Ibom outside Uyo is thrash, Port Harcourt is oppressing the rest of Rivers state( All except 2 higher institutions in the state are in Port Harcourt public or private)), Remove the seaport and watch Lagos state crumble, the place is over populated how do they manage to survive. Name one thing in any part of Nigeria that is not in Delta state.

Why do you wanna remove seaport from Lagos?

Okay remove oil from the south south and watch the whole region be like north east.

The allocation is justified.

What cannot be justified is the work done.

But I thought South East is among the highest oil producing zones. Why is buhari marginalising the SE like this? Or has he forgotten it is the money from SE that is being used to fund Katsina budget? Not fair.

And see what is happening in Delta now. I think most of our politicians are the real devil because the real devil ain't this bad now. How can someone be managing such a huge fun and that state is still like that outside their own IGRs. God help this nation now.

Look at the case of the Lagos state light rail awarded to that chinese company for 1.5bn dollars. Just 27 kilometers and Ethiopia awarded the same company a heavy rail project for 4.5bn dollars which is almost 800km. Lagos state own was awarded in 2009 and hasn't been concluded while Ethiopia's own was awarded 2 years later and it is fully functional now. Who did we offend dear Lord? I even heard the contract was actually awarded at approximately 300million dollars as against 1.5bn told us. Who are the people in possession of the remaining 1.2bn dollars? NIGERIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
The money for Lagos rail project was used to finance Tinubu empire at the expense of Lagos residents. You need to see the pain and agony the residents of festac-ojo- badagry go through everyday all because of the criminals lead by tinubu that has held Lagos hostage. I regretted passing that road to holiday at whispering palm in badagry. Nice place but never going through that terrible road again. All Nigerian politicians are criminals and the worst of them all are the hypocrites in APC.
