I am a spill-over student of University of Ilorin, admitted in 2014, I have always been a serious student, I attended classes, read always but I have been so unlucky through out my stay, despite not being social, I was always slammed with two or three carryovers as the years progressed.
I was supposed to graduate in 2018, but I failed 4 Required courses( the previous levels 200/300 inclusive).. I did all my best and with God I cleared my second semester courses only for me to be told by my Level Adviser that I have two other courses, meaning I will have to come back for First semester, and probably join NYSC by March or April.
I don't know where to start from, I can't go home to tell them anything.. The two courses, One from Chemistry Department and the other from my Department,. Both were mass failures.

Please, I just need someone to motivate me because, Honestly I feel like dropping out already.

you need to take it easy with yourself and do what’s necessary. remember it’s only temporary and it will pass, as long as you take the right steps. dropping out isn’t a better option.

You need to motivate yourself & ensure you complete the outstanding courses i spent 7 years studying a four years course in unilag although mine was because i was doing hnd in yabatech,after my first extra year i told myself i cannot continue like this i got a job & went for service with my hnd that same year my cgpa was just dropping every semester,i still managed to graduate with a third class.

God didn't spend his time creating a nobody, you're somebody and in few years from now, you'll tell the story to inspire others.

I know it's not easy especially if you're well known in your school but know it's a phase you'll get over soonest.
Just do it and get your degree
Remember winners are those that pushed the wall to make it a bridge to cross to the next level.
If you quit now, you'll always see yourself as a never do well and won't have the drive to overcome circumstances

Don't give up I had same issue last year in d same school I had to persevere and clear d outstanding courses till I got out from the woods.

Two courses? I would advise you not to consider dropping out at this point. You've already come this far and you're just at the verge of getting your degree, don't give up at this point. I believe you can do it. Just give it your very best shot and trust God to do the rest.

Oh, and talk to your parents about it. I've been in your shoes and know what it means to be afraid of sharing such news with your family. I've been there, man. I kept mine as a secret for years and what did I gain? Depression. Anxiety. Constant worrying. Name it. Of course, they'll be disappointed, even angry, but, know this, they'll be the ones helping you out. They deserve to know the truth.

You can do this. I believe in you and wish you the best.

Make I talk small...the disgrace for repeating a class or have spill no be same for S.S class cos u be someone way just dey grow.failure way no be for this cart na small shit..get carry over walla ,i dey laugh myself if u see my result na beautiful nonsense. I mean u go see beautiful grades buh a F good spoil am my carryover na 3units courses...I wanted to fight school about adding that failed course to another semester make u work load plenty when other dey 22 me 28.. Abi like how can't they let do this failed course and if pass returned it back to where I had the F..


all my carryover I no dey miss class I no shame upon say my department dey get lowest students my set we be 28students so it easy to know..

Make tell you story way remove fear and shyness of failure from my body..I repeated S.S 1 if u no get 6 credits in eng and math authomatic back to S s1..God come make am worse Lagos state jss 3 results no gree come out for Weeks after resumption na only repeaters dey attend class, maths teacher write 2x-3=5 on board called a girl come solve am the girl no fit she give a very biggest slap I can't even imagine.my body shake I feel say olodo spirit come out from body cos me self no fit solve am then ..since then ma average score from anything maths or calculation na 60 ..
