Nothing has been proven Alien! They may have gotten their phd with no mention of their young earthism. Kurt Wise's thesis in fact inferred an earth millions of years old.

I repeat, there is no phd holder doing young earth science in any reputable higher institution, not even in Nigeria with our Gods being everywhere and there's a reason for it. Anyone doing science cannot refuse to acknowledge earth has been in existence for a very very long time.

It takes time for light to travel from one place to another. A light year is the distance light would have traveled in a year.

If the earth was created about 6,000-10,000 yrs old, you would expect that the furthest light we see to be within a 6,000 - 10,000 light years from us.

However that is not the case, as we can see light from far distant galaxies which are well over 10,000 light years away, actually our closest galaxy the Andromeda Galaxy is 2.5 million light years away (and that is just our closest galaxy)

Where exactly is it written in the bible how old the earth is?
Of course, the Bible does not say explicitly anywhere, “The earth is 6,000 years old.” Good thing it doesn’t, otherwise it would be out of date the following year. But we wouldn’t expect an all-knowing God to make that kind of a mistake.

God gave us something better. In essence, He gave us a “birth certificate.” For example, using a personal birth certificate, a person can calculate how old he is at any point. It is similar with the earth. Genesis 1 says that the earth was created on the first day of creation (Genesis 1:1–5). From there, we can begin to calculate the age of the earth.
Let’s do a rough calculation to show how this works. The age of the earth can be estimated by taking the first five days of creation (from earth’s creation to Adam), then following the genealogies from Adam to Abraham in Genesis 5 and 11, then adding in the time from Abraham to today.
Adam was created on day 6, so there were five days before him. If we add up the dates from Adam to Abraham, we get about 2,000 years, using the Masoretic Hebrew text of Genesis 5 and 11.3 Whether Christian or secular, most scholars would agree that Abraham lived about 2,000 B.C. (4,000 years ago).

Quite a few people have done this calculation using the Masoretic text (which is what most English translations are based on) and with careful attention to the biblical details, they have arrived at the same time frame of about 6,000 years, or about 4000 B.C. Two of the most popular, and perhaps best, are a recent work by Dr. Floyd Jones and a much earlier book by Archbishop James Ussher (1581–1656)

My question is, where was it said by God that the Torah, and then the letters of these people in the Bible be compiled together into a book. Can you quote the Bible or any speech made by God that these definate articles and only them should make their way into the book?
The articles/letters/writings that made their way into what you now call the bible were decided by humans. This does not mean there are no compilations that contain all the masoretic scrolls, but one thing you can't deny is that God himself wanted history, stories, and his word , put down in writing for generations upon generations to read.

Revelation 1:19 (New Living Translation)
“Write down what you have seen —both the things that are now happening and the things that will happen.

Revelation 10:4 (New Living Translation)
When the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write. But I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Keep secret what the seven thunders said, and do not write it down.

Second question: Who compiled the books of the bible? Is there a biblical guideline followed in this compilation? Thanks.
The torah was first pieced together by Ezra the scribe, he was picked as a kind of leader after the Greeks conquered Israel.

The first time the entirety of the discovered scrolls along with the torah, were put together was during the Rabbinical Council of Jamnia (AD 90).
They were divided into inspired and uninspired books (Apocrypha), this is the guideline that was followed.

Our planet is said to be millions and millions of years old.

Most historians use approximately 4.5 billion years old.

This is also true. What the bible dates as 4004 BC is the creation of man, animals, the garden, etc, not the earth as an entity itself.

Lucifer the dragon had already been cast out due to his revolt and was inhabiting what we know as earth long before the story of creation. The earth became covered by darkness and was without form (this is a metaphor for inhabited), after the cataclysmic impact of an asteroid (scientists believe this is what destroyed the dinosaurs). Some bible scholars believe this asteroid hitting earth was a machination of God himself as a groundwork for the beginning of creation (anew, starting over)

Revelation 21:5 English Standard Version (ESV)
And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

The initial plan of God in the beginning was to create a perfect world inhabited by man without sin. A world where he would dwell among man as he did in the garden with Adam.
This plan was interrupted by Lucifer, but God always prevails. The same asteroids which were used to make anew before the beginning will be used again as stated in the book of revelation, this time to wipe out all the remaining traces of evil in the world. This is the last plague as contained in the seventh vial to be delivered on the earth by the seventh angel.

Revelation 16:21 New International Version (NIV)
From the sky huge hailstones (asteroids), each weighing about a hundred pounds, fell on people. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible.

The age of creation should not be confused with the actual age of the geographical mass we call earth.

So you cannot say your god said the earth 6000years old or that creation was done 6000years ago, you are inferring from the text right?

I would be lying if i said that God himself said it anywhere himself. If you could read that again, you would see where science and religion agreed.

The 4000 years before Christ was calculated based on the ages of the people that lived between Adam and the period of Jesus' birth, much like the same way you will be able to calculate how old your village/town is once you know the first person to inhabit it and then start adding the ages of his descendants to the present.
It's just mathematics.

It is very possible that along with the dinosaurs who lived before creation, there were also man-like species roaming the earth.
Lucifer lost his place among the sons of God only to be cast out into a place (earth) where he made himself ruler of all things. By this, there was definitely something to rule over which might have included humans.

Isaiah 14:12-14 New International Version (NIV)
How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!

Nations here means people, not countries, but people.
And for Lucifer to be the morning star whose power could make the nations (people) lay low (worship), it means there was certainly a man-like species well before the creation story of Genesis.

In order to avoid a situation where Lucifer would infect the earth with malice and evil, there was to be a renewal. This is where the asteroids rained down and destroyed all things, in the process making the earth to be without form, void (empty), and covered in darkness (it is said that when asteroids hit with enough force, it creates a blanket of smoke and dust).

Not really, the Christian bible isnt a history textbook.

There lies no weight in an assertion that uses the Abrahamic religious textual narrative as a point of reference due to the fact that those texts peddle a false and unrealistic representation of history.

Humanity began in Africa, then our ancestors went on to populate the other continents.

Africans have been living on our planet for over 1,000,000 years whilst the current stock of Asians and
Europeans appears 100,000 - 200,000 years ago.

There are various historians that suggest the Earth is older than 4.5 million years old, yet majority make use of these values.

Humanity as we know it today has its roots in the garden of Eden. Everything that existed before the creation of this garden was destroyed by the cataclysmic events of the asteroids.

The bible also confirms the belief that humanity began in what we refer to as Africa, although it would be North Africa to be precise.

My comments regarding what science can confirm are in parenthesis below:

Genesis 2:10-14 New International Version (NIV)
10 A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters.
11 The name of the first is the Pishon (believed to be the "Ganges) : it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold (India)
12 The gold of that land is good; aromatic resin and onyx are also there.
13 The name of the second river is the Gihon (The Nile); it winds through the entire land of Cush (Ethiopia)
14 The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Ashur (Assyria). And the fourth river is the Euphrates. (the joining of Tigris and Euphrates is the site of ancient Babylon)

Please note that the continents as we know it only formed over hundreds of years beginning with the great flood. North Africa and the middle east were one land mass going by Genesis since rivers cannot cut across a sea.

This is the biblical proof that the flood brought about land movement/realignment, not in the exact way it is now but as a precursor to what scientists call tectonic plate movement.

Genesis 7:11 New International Version (NIV)
In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on the seventeenth day of the second month— on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened.

Water burst forth from the ground as written above. The kind of force it would have taken to do this is enough to cause tectonic movements in the earth.

Humans do make mistakes. That is precisely why we do sciences, as in use our senses to determine what is true and what is false instead of not using ones senses at all and believing one single book.

Science is the use of the senses. Read up on how those senses are to be used here.

There are no history related content in the Christian bible.

There are no storyline or characters present in Abrahamic religious text that can claim to being original.

My advice is for you to go and re-educate yourself with regards to the real history of our planet.

According to history, humanity is said to have began in the regions South of the Sahara.

Civilisation began in Africa and moved up the Nile. These aspects of history predates the populating of the Nile region in years that amount in their thousands.

As in, Ancient Egyptian history represents about 5% of African history; given that the evidence suggests humanity began South of the Sahara, the history of our continent represents over 50% of the history of all human kind.

Its important to note that the current Egyptians have zero relations to the 'Ancient Egyptians' - originally known as the people of KM.T(Kemet, Kemit).

Read history textbooks authored by genuine historians:

. Africa in World History by Dr Hendrik Clarke

. The African Origin of Civilisation by Cheikh Anta Diop

. Africa: mother of "Western civilization" by Yosef-Ben-Jochannan

. New dimensions in African history by Yosef-Ben-Jochannan and Dr Hendrik Clarke.

. They Came Before Columbus: The African Presence in Ancient America by Dr Ivan Sertima
Re: Age Of Earth - Scientists Lie! by Amujale(m): 7:21pm On Oct 04, 2019
Its a common misconception the suggestion that Ancient Egyptian history is tantamount to African history.

That isnt, what is undeniable however is the fact that Ancient Egyptians are Nubian and are African.

That is to say, the history of KM.T is a part of African history and NOT African history itself.

The Christian bible is a Roman invention that their leaders first used on their peasants.

All the authors of the Christian bible are Roman.

Assuming Angels are real beings as depicted in Abrahamic religious text, then all of them would probably be blacksic, brown and bronze.

Furthermore, its a wholly unrealistic and false assertion that suggest so-called Angels to have written the Christian bible due to the fact that history tells us that all the authors were infact Roman.

For one to achieve a true understanding of history, one has to be able to determine the true African narrative

That is to say, eventhough the impact may seem humongous and probably was at various points, the trans Atlantic campaign and Colonisation represents less than 1% of African history.

Assuming today is 100%, then about 94% of history is yet to be explored by many of our modern day academics on the continent.

My brothers and sisters lets combine to make our continent greater again and some more.
Re: Age Of Earth - Scientists Lie! by Amujale(m): 9:56am On Oct 05, 2019
Most historians use approximately 4.5 billion years as the age of our planet.

Given the present gaps in history and the understanding that has Earth predating all humankind, then one could easily suggest that our planet is probably older than what the current analysis of the radiometric data would allow us to agree upon.

Hello.

This is quite good, although I think that some of the details are a little off. I think I have seen the name Floyd Jones, but I don't remember the context in which I did. James Ussher too is quite familiar, but I never read his work. I believe I only saw references to it.

You seem to me to have some good scholarship and a love for the Truth. Would you like to talk with me? My email is ihedinobi3@gmail.com.

I see. I was actually hoping to discuss the Bible with you. You do have a fair grasp on some of the things I have seen you discuss, and I was hoping to perhaps help you strengthen what you do have. It's a little like I was (only better, in my thinking) a few years ago, and like at least one other person that I met on here a couple months or so ago. But this atmosphere does not lend itself to the kind of tutelage and ministry that helps believers mature in the Truth.

And the Truth is the Bible. There is no truth except what God says. In science, politics, culture, and philosophy, there is a great deal of speculation and falsehood. Whatever you find true in any of that is from the Lord, and you don't need to study them to find such truth. Before I learned the whole Truth of the Bible as a system, my knowledge of science, politics, culture, philosophy, and business, while not mean at all or easily obtained (even if not obtained by orthodox means), left me in significant confusion about what is true and what isn't. Only the Bible makes clear what is true and what isn't. But human arrogance does not respond well to the Bible and we are apt to presume that we ourselves are the measure of truth, so that if we like something, we declare it true, and if we don't, we declare it false. But this, of course, does not work well over a large enough range of knowledge, because soon enough we find things we like having unpleasant conclusions and things we don't having pleasant ones. Then, like Paul, we find ourselves "kicking against the goads/pricks" trying to force reality to bend to our whims. That is what we do with science and philosophy and pretty much everything else.

So, the safest place to be is in the Bible. It is sometimes necessary, even useful, to keep up to date with events in the world, whether they are scientific, political, cultural, or philosophical, but it is very dangerous as well to do so. We must always be careful to subordinate everything about this life to the Truth of the Bible in order to make the right use of them. The reason for this is that this life is all about our attitude to the Truth. We are being tested to make an eternal choice about God's Truth, whether we will believe it and whether we will do so enthusiastically and emphatically, or whether we will not at all.

If you are of a mind to study these things any further than you have already, we need not talk privately. I often recommend https://ichthys.com to anyone who may be interested in learning the Bible as a coherent system of knowledge. You could take a look at the website. The author is a professor of classics at the University of Louisville, Kentucky. He is both an authority in ancient languages including Hebrew, Greek, and Latin, and an authority in ancient history. He also has theological training, but his greatest qualification is that he is a man who wholly believes the Bible and is not shy to follow it wherever it goes. He does not make excuses for the Bible, and is not interested in trying to make it fit cultural, scientific, or philosophical confines. He lets it lead and is fine interpreting culture, science, philosophy, and history in its light.

Now, you don't have to take my word for it. You can just read a sampling from the website and see what you make of it. I'm offering it because of what I hope that I see in you. The human heart is not a reliable thing, so I could be seeing you all wrong, but in the event that I am not, you have the address. If you decide that you want to explore the website (and it's a large library), you might find the system in the following post useful:
