I'm so sorry for most people. They lack common thinking abilities. The chief priest is not empowered by any law to declare or enforce a curfew or anything of such sort. The church's activities were legally carried out within the church's premises . This assault is unacceptable and an infringement on the Right to freedom of religion as enshrined in section 38(1) of the constitution.

In my own place, if the traditional festival activities which usually hold from night till the following morning fall in btw Saturday and Sunday, members of the festival activities are always order to put end to all activities before 7am so as to enable Christians attend church service and everyone live peacefully.
