use ur brain. There are ppl and agencies trained for such emergencies. U expect cars to park zigzag around that place to render help with tiny extinguishers thereby blocking off fire trucks,Abi U think say na kerosene stove fire? What if there are subsequent explosions

Why are you commenting from your anus? There are agencies trained for what? Where were the agencies? Fire trucks that came after 3 hours or more? Is the guy from any agency? Just pray for yourself that God should not put you in a situation that will make proposed helpers look for excuses.
Whether cars should pack zigzag? No! They should have packed YZ. Who knows, your relatives or friends might be there unknown to you.
This is what I have seen several times, even University students fetch water and sand if there's an inferno on campus.
So, they should fold their hands and pass because they do not belong to trained agencies? Please use your brain!
I have seen one online where the Reverend sisters packed their ambulance and started using bed pans etc to fetch sand to help, not everyone must do the putting off direct. People use their personal cars to help accident victims to hospitals.
I have seen students pour away their foods to fetch sand once with their food packs when a woman's car caught fire, in less than 5 minutes, everything was ok.
What if everyone had passed? People pack their cars and render help in such situations, donation of extinguishers is a sort of help
If they had all donated extinguishers, the loss should have been minimal.

This man has set an example with courage and the choice to make a difference. This is a quality that each person can tap into, and a choice that everyone can make, in the course of their daily lives. This man has set an example by doing so; let us applaud him!
Next time, instead of saying "that person in trouble is a stranger to me, I don't owe them any help", offer help...no need to wait for a burning building or life and death drama...can we challenge ourselves to make this a daily practice for a month? And then lose track of what month it is?

Actually I don't want to engage in a tribal banter with you, this is a thread for the igbos, I didn't drag your tribe into this..
Moreover, Igbos are not known for fighting wars and claiming people's land, we only fight to defend our territories. If not for the igbos, Nigeria would have been overrun by the Islamic blood suckers. We are the major barrier to Nigeria being declared an Islamic country.
Igbo amaka, yoruba amaka. Egbe belu, ugo belu. That's all we want.

IGBOS SAY YORUBAS ARE COWARDS. GO ABD READ YOUR HISTORY BOOKS AND SEE WHICH TRIBE WAS THE DOMINANT MILITARY FORCE IN WEST AFRICA HUNDREDS OF YEARS AGO BEFORE THE COLONIAL MASTERS. NO ONE KNEW OF THE IGBOS THEN. THE FIRST MAJOR WAR THEY FOUGHT WAS THE CIVIL WAR WHICH ALMOST LED TO IGBOS BEEN WIPED OUT. SO WHO ARE THE COWARDS?

I don't know the igbos that say that the yorubas are cowards, definitely I'm not part of them, and I've not come across them. I relate with people wise enough not to make such uncouth statements and generalizations. I don't know much about other tribes, but for what I know, igbos are brave, courageous and definitely have nothing to do with cowardice.
