T6 according to people is problematic... just 3.2liter engine AWD is a goal ....

This is not even 2007 model, it's a 2006 model. T6 has transmission issues. If you can get the 3.2L 2007 model, it's a good one otherwise get the T5 model.

The person advertising this car to you is not the owner, try and locate the owner, strike a good bargain and buy the car, it's a good one

It's actually an 05/06 5cyl T5 engine

There's nothing like 2007 model 3.0 T6 AWD

This is no 2007 model however, it's not a 3.0 T6 either

The problematic year model of the T6 series on Volvo are between 2000-2004(S80) and 2004-2005(XC90). Those too are not 3.0 T6 too, instead they are 2.9l T6

This person advertising the car to you wants to rip buyers off some cash by advertising it as a higher year model, hence the choice of calling It an 07 model, and as most sites will ask you to choose a trim, he went random and chose the 3.0 T6

Note that there's no 3.0 T6 trim on an 07 XC90 either, it's either a V8 or 3.2 NA engine (FWD or AWD)

Cheers

I'll ask you again, why?

Are you pretending to know it all without substantial proof or are you just doing this just to taunt me?

Kindly tell us why you're advising him against buying that car.

Thanks

Might seem funny to you, but it's someone else's hustle he's trying to spoil for no good reason.

I'm not sure you'll share same sentiment if someone else were doing it to you.

I won't go away you know?

Kindly go ahead and tell us why you think it's a bad buy

Is it cos it's a Volvo and not a Toyota you fix?

Or are you saying you just knock off a person's sale for fun?

Why do you outrightly discourage him from buying this car in this pic.

Stop hiding behind the fake 'cyberpeace' charade and provide some answers, why is it a bad buy?

My thread

That wasn't what you meant when you dropped this introductory to the thread, was it?

Educate us Sir Gazzuzz, or I'll also ask you to read that guys question and pass since you have nothing to say

Gazuzz:
As usual this thread might seem controversial and the timing a bit off, but this is cartalk and we talking about cars.

The autos section is littered with Nigerian used vehicles at varying prices some cars ridiculously cheap, some others even more expensive than tokumbor vehicles

E.g https://www.nairaland.com/5375972/2009-2010-toyota-camry

I buy and sell used and tokumbor vehicles on a weekly basis, I also do a lot of paid vehicle evaluations and come across a lot of vehicles with varying degrees of defects . After doing this a lot of times you know what to expect even before getting to the location of the vehicle.

At this point kindly note that there are still quite a few good Nigerian used vehicles out there and this should not be a generalization of all used cars .

This thread will list most of the common issues with certain brands and vehicle models that pushed them into the market.

Again useful tools like vin reports should be employed before purchasing vehicles with verifiable VINS.

As usual the thread is for educational purposes, if you do not have anything positive to contribute , read and pass.
