Spaghetti prepared with nothing but palm oil and an unripe banana

People cook and eat spaghetti with Palm oil in their homes, students do it in higher Institution too.

I can recall the story of an aboki tea seller with 9 kids and 2 wives.
I was like even the CEO of Cadbury doesn't have 4 kids but a tea seller has 9kids.
Exactly,
Imagine billionaire, Otedola and VP Osinbajo don't have large family, but a 50 naira tea seller keep acquiring wives and giving birth to future miscreants. No wonder crime rate keeps increasing.

There is no country without rural areas with lower class citizens and villagers; We have fantastic breakfast halls in Nigeria's private schools.

People who eat palm oil spaghetti did so because they have no choice because of brokenness.

billions of Naira was budgeted for this feeding program therefore palm oil spaghetti and unripe banana shouldn't be an option.

You're right bro, but do something for me. Google villages in US states or in the UK/Europe, then search for elementary schools in your results.

You will see yourself.

How many children are they feeding in the South and South West? Do their parents not pay more tax and generate more revenue? Parents who have such manage with their children.
These people are just too good at breeding like pigs but can't work to take care of them.
University students eat gari in school.

A country and government ruined by greed and wickedness, that is the result.
When the school feeding programme was about to kick off in a part of the country, interested contractors were told to go to schools to pick forms. I went to a school near me and what I saw in the school was unacceptable. The school was a mess. Was it food the school needed or renovation to what a school should be.
And the millions budgeted for this joke could have fixed those schools.

Your point is well understood and I'm not disputing that the schools of other countries there are also the standard in the respective countries.

Now, would you say that the picture of 'Nigeria' up there, is also the standard of public schools in Nigeria?
If not, is it fair to have it up there on a public forum as this?

You're dissapointed because you don't comprehend.

That first two photos are not representing all public schools in Nigeria, there are far better public schools even here in my local town(Not to talk of Lagos/Abuja).

But as rich as Nigeria is, despite the Billions allocated annually for education most especially in the North, these kids don't deserve this treatment.

You cannot see a public school in this condition in the US/UK/Canada/Europe. Even in their rural/village setting(Use google).

This picture is an Elementary school In Albany, a village in Wisconsin, US. The population of this location is 1000.

Oga with the amount of money budgeted for the feeding program the students have not business eat that nonsense.
The feeding program was supposed to be nation wide but the reverse is the case as some people have siphon the money.

We only show the negatives of our country, these other countries are not so perfect. Many of them sleep in the subway, but we never see that in their news. Lets help our communities and stop making noise upandan

I wish the government would just make sure the money for these schools would be spent on what its meant for. I mean, who wouldn't derive joy seeing these kids get the best at school? Some people are just sadists. Its a pity.

Well your assumption, cos I comprehend you perfectly. And no, I'm not in any way suggesting those kids deserve to be in such condition nor condoning the irresponsibility of the government. My intention was misconstrued.

The picture you happened to paint implied that the pictures represent the supposed standard of public schools in the respective countries, and so one who doesn't know better will assume that to be the case, as in Nigeria's. Are you saying some other countries don't have it as worse, even if in the minimal? How would it seem if you took a similar picture to represent such a country that obviously has better conditions in the majority? I am in no way making any excuse for Nigeria's case though.

While we should call out the ills of the government at federal and state level, we should also not do so at the detriment of those states who seem to be on the road to getting it right.

A simple caption of the particular state in Nigeria the picture represents would have been more expository, particular as it is not the available standard.

Hopefully our leaders will get it right someday. Cheers
