It's not about Naira Marley, Tonto Dike or snakes so don't expect the masses to come here!

Don't know Nora Jemisin but i'll find out about her.
She's known as N. K. Jemisin. Her books include: The Broken Earth trilogy, Inheritance trilogy, and the Dreamblood duology.

Waaay better writer than that overhyped hack Nnedi.

She wrote 2 or 3 episodes of Black Panther: long live the king.

Definitely the worst depiction of T'challa ever put to print.

She reduced one of the most brilliant and inspirational comic book characters to a bumbling simpleton. All to further a feminist agenda.

I have no regard for female comic book writers who instead of creating strong women prefer to weaken strong men.

Two of the best comic book writers today are women. Go and read SAGA and MONSTRESS. Monstress is also drawn by a woman and i consider it to be one of the best drawn comics I have ever seen and this is coming from someone who has been reading comics for 40 yrs so I know what I am saying, I am no woman hater. But I respect those writers because they created strong female AND male characters.

God deliver us from these false feminists who seek to undermine men instead of uplifting women

Can you forgive? You know, in any write up, even the strongest characters are created with flaws.

Wow.....i've heard about her before, but i never knew She was this good.....we have so much potentials in This country, but our leaders have ruined the country so much that most of the potentials is never Utilised and many of it are lost to other countries.

I don't know why its not common knowledge. But she wrote some parts of the Black Panther comics, and other writers contributed also. People should read more about their favourite books, comics and movies.

There is no need to defend her my dear.

She messed up.

A great writer needs to delve deep into an old character before putting pen to paper. They must find what is the essence of that character then play around with that. Christopher Priest and Reginald Hudlin took the essence of Black Panther and made it so much more.

An average or mediocre writer just overlays their own prejudices over a character and destroys it for those who fully understand what the character stands for. I'm always wary of female comic book writers because the first thing that the average ones do to a preexisting comic is to lay a feminist layer over it instead of just telling a damn good story.

I would really love to read your book too.
I'm also trying some scribblings. But I hope to finish my Manuscript before the end of next year.

Met her at Akefest a few days ago. Strong and imposing personality. Between then and now, I've read the Binti trilogy. Not bad I must say.

Very true but Star Trek has taken over that word.

Very few people today know anything about Roman mythology.

So was your interest based on the Roman mythology?
