oga this is a welcome back plan that Has been existing for almost a year now. Not for everyone. It's for people who have not used their MTN line for up to 1 month.

it worked 4 me too, I think it's just 4 some selected Sims because I have never done welcome with my sim and I registered my SIM like 4-5 years ago when they send me a message that I should register my SIM and they will give me is it 10 or 15 thousand naira airtime I can't remember the amount that was da last time I registered my SIM

Meanwhile Glo is the fastest 4G network in my area and they want to finish me with data. They don't even zap data... What you use is what they deduct. I renewed my N2500 and got a whopping bonus

how did you get this plenty bonus?

this package has been on for the past 5months now l've using it for a while. Mtn and other internet network providers are the biggest fraude after our politicians. l subscribed for 4gb yesterday afternoon and am now left with 800mb. this country keeps getting bad and no body is doing anything about it.

Your eligibility to this data offer doesn't mean you've done a welcome back (sim swap) on your line. The term simply means that the offer is available for theirs users who have not used their lines for a long time, hence they're welcoming you back on their network with huge data offer.

OP is mixing things up. I'll help clarify it.

The N500 for 2gb (2days plan) is for everybody.

The *131*65# plans are welcome back plans only and with it, u get:

N100 for 250mb (3days)
N200 for 1gb (1 week)
N1000 for 4gb (1 month)

I use the N500 for 2gb cos i do get additional 2gb bonus making 4gb for N500 but its same 2days validity and anyone can subscribe!

So, don't get it mixed up.

Does it last?... Bcoz these network providers consume data like hell nowadays. I subscribed 2gb on my glo, after one week I got this...

How do you check the data balance

I started using this since last year na. I think that time world cup was played, that's where I saw the advert. But the thing with this offer is that after 1 month or so, the Sim becomes ineligible. So what I do is, I will remove the sim and leave it for a month for it to become eligible again. I have four different sims for this. I use one this month, and before it becomes ineligible, the other one must have been eligible again, and so on and so forth.
