A transission loyalist once asked me here on nairaland what would a phone user need gyroscope, step and pressure sensors for. I simply just told him he doesn't need them, he has made a good choice by sticking to transission devices.

It's Prolly because their target market, Africa and subsequently Nigeria, has no use yet for the feature. like authentication and payment. Even India and China too doesn't make use of NFC on a large scale. Unless you're talking about the other uses of NFC, like giving directions and getting price tags. NFC is more important in the US and Europe.

It can stress an average of 200kbit/s on a very gud day of which the traditional Bluetooth can perform way more faster. Nigeria hasnt gottn to that stage of using it as an optional means of authentication/payment whereas the use of POS hasn't penetrated the market properly talk more of NFC. So Think again when next u use it as a yardstick when looking for a device thereby overlooking other key features thinking u will ve a barry allen of a device.

Let me ask one important question now and den when do u think Tecno produce better devices.

When they came in dey came with stupid inferior phones worst than wat we have now, while Nokia was der dominating, Tecno never ever did anything wonderful when it comes to quality but they have very very wonderful marketing strategy, they swallowed nokia, with der inferior product and they target d poor because the poor will always be more in number than the rich.....der poor product was every where immediately they came.

So am.wondering why xiaomi good product and also cheap is slow reaching out to Nigeria stores.

The best approach to glorify ur product is to market it, offline, create more awareness offline, go to international markets and schools, sponsor invents (now Tecno is one of the sponsor for Teni show in Lagos) and create awareness, give people choice.

Note creating offensive thread to prove u are a xiaomi disciple ..

I am not praising dem for der product, I am wondering why xiaomi is so slow showing Nigerians what they gat
