People keep saying that the Lakers have had one of the easiest schedules so far, but they've won them so far. Meanwhile, the Clippers have lost a couple of easy fixtures. Even if we win all our easy games but lose all our difficult ones, as we have against the Clippers and Raptors, we're still likely to finish top of the west or at least very high. On the contrary, if the Clippers win all their difficult games and lose most of their easy games, they're likely to finish lower in the west.

Nobody should tell me anything about the Lakers having the easiest schedule so far. We can only beat what's in front of us.

15-0 against sub .500 teams. Flat-track bullies and proud.

Luka Doncic for MVP.

The Suns really passed on Luka and picked DeAndre Ayton. I still find it so hard to believe any GM would sabotage themselves that badly unless they thought he could be the next Olajuwon.

And for Melo men he's injected some life into the Blazers. Still long ways to go but it makes you wonder how different his last few years could have been if he agreed to join Portland some years back when they wanted him

The Suns GM played it safe. All the talk about the media guys in the USA who admitted to have never seen luka play was that you can't teach 7ft. Also the idea that they had seen the next big thing from Europe becoming bust in the NBA.
What they forgot to say is that no teenager had ever come into the NBA with the kind of resume luka already had

I would expect the media and talking heads not to have seen Doncic play but a GM should have a team of scouts who have watched him live or seen on tape and ask how a teenager was able to win MVP in the second best professional basketball league in the world. Especially now that it's been established that to win in today's league you need a big wing like Kawhi,LeNomad,KD etc which Doncic fits into the mold

Remember he had been European champion with Slovenia and arguably the second best player behind Dragic.

A 7footer is almost redundant in today's game if he can't shoot outside the paint, especially an Ayton who isn't really a rim protector. An ok scorer in the post but at best he is a poor man's Lamarcus Aldridge

nothing you said is wrong. but you omitted stuff, perhaps you were not aware of it. Essentially no one could reach Kyrie in an y meaningful way after his decision - there were a bunch of uncles running point for him at that juncture. Even if the decision was his, he could have been talked out of it. But as SAS and others alluded, his camp felt it was his time. so my q again is, where are those folks.

I know lebron hate/love is an infectious thing, and people defend or destroy other players based on how they affect lebrons rep. this has nothing with trying to absolve lebron. this is a kyrie issue - where are the uncles and family that let him think this was a good idea. thats my own.

btw its not just kyrie. look at antonio brown, terrell owens. these guys had family members literally cheering them on as the career went down in flames. i find it a disturbing trend
I'm sure his team and family are still with him. They're not going to leave over a failed chemistry issue or shoulder injury. And this is no where close to an Antonio Brown situation. So, Kyrie will be fine. It's not like the Cavs and LeBron won back to back championships after he left. Not everyone can stomach the negative aspects created by the fans and media of playing under LeBron. He will be fine.

60 points in 31 minutes all in the first 3 quarters!
8 three pointers!!

Our question is why did the team leave out James Harden in the 4th quarter?
He would have easily made another 20 to 25 points in the 4th quarter.

Give it up for the most valuable player of the NBA already.
James H is the man!

I'd pay to see Harden do this in the NBA conference Finals or something. He has made scoring 40 seem so normal. Another MVP season if Houston finishes at least 2nd.

Man Trae need to leave atl asap, this kid is averaging 27ppg and the hawks still have won just 4 games

Just trying to figure out why people are so numb to this. Is it the style of play? is it the fact that its restricted to the regular season? is it the free throws? is it that people just dont like him? i think its a bit of all these factors. BTW, with the way the NBA is headed, WIlts 100 point record isn't safe.

Is this not the same James Harden I saw shoot 2/11 in an elimination game in his home court? Abi another James Harden dey? Lol will never be moved by a 60pt game vs the Hawks. Let him do even 40 in the playoffs

Tbf to Harden, He did average 30+ vs the Best team last Year. He just needs His Teammates to step up and do better.

have you ever considered that the Rockets playing style is whey he can score 40 every night and makes his teammates look like fuckíng bums? What about when he had CP3? have you they almost eliminated the warriors two years in a row? They're playing style is why they suck so much come post season. KD, LeBron, Curry will do the same every night if they play like this.

I don't think you Guys realise how Energy snapping the things Harden does on the court are? Many Guys can do it for a few games maybe a few months but best believe they'll be hard pressed if asked to sustain it over the duration of the season. That's Exactly what Harden has done for a few seasons now.

True Harden is very ball dominant player but many superstars are if we are to be Honest. Although I do tend to agree that His style of play is not conducive to winning Basketball, you also have to admit He has not had a Decent Quality sidekick. The one time He had that Calibre of player(till His Hamstring gave up), they almost beat the Warriors.

Criticize AD for not leading his team in the playoffs, in the same breath defend Harden for not doing the same because he doesn't a "decent" sidekick. Oh so sidekicks matter now? You people make me sick cheesy
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 9:01pm On Dec 01, 2019
Hahahaha you think Harden on those Pelican teams would have only made the Playoffs twice? Heck you think Even Westbrook would have made the Playoffs only twice with that team?

you underate a lot of NBA players. A lot of players will do equally great if they are allowed to take that many shot and not okay defense. No one taking anything away from Harden. He had a decent squad was was like top 3 in the last two years. There's just no excuse. Their type of play won't take them anywhere. If Houston was smart, they'll use the whole season to learn how to play like a team and maximize everyone's potential but we know what's more important to Harden and the team. I just remembered he has Westbrook, Eric Gordon, PJ Tucker and Capela. He has no excuse.

We all watched Harden basically disappear in San Antonio a couple of years back while he scored 10 points and his team scored 75 points and then hit a club a few hours later. We watched his team brick 27 consecutive trees against the warriors with him among the chief bricklayers, hopelessly crying for those regular season fouls hes so used to. You didn't accuse him of being a bad leader. But you want a big to carry a team without a legitimate second star, besides hakeem and dirk who had really good role players around them BTW, when has that ever happened? And even they had their downs. You're biased, most people here are, its just funny watching you lot flip flop and move goal post at every opportunity.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:35pm On Dec 01, 2019
LeBron going for first team all defense. You love to see it.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:42pm On Dec 01, 2019
Kyle kuzma is a defensive liability, just too awkward and teams keep singling him out.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:47pm On Dec 01, 2019
With AB out KCP starts and Rondo and Daniels come off the bench along with Kuzma. Thats barbecue chicken for the opposition cause those three can't play a lick of defence.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 11:11pm On Dec 01, 2019
A positive and a negative that they've tamed Luka so far. The lakers second unit has been awful. At least they're not down by double digits as usual. This game has playoff vibes, i reckon we see these guys in the first or second round if they make it. Will be really fun.
