There's a stipulated entitlement by the revenue and fiscal allocation for governors and president, but each state went ahead to create their own selfish entitlement, Mattawale is only saying I will only pay what is stipulated formal law, in Lagos for e.g a former governor will get a choice property in Lagos and abuja, Lagos package is more than what a president will get self.

It is not his pension and other benefits like two cars replaceable every four years, free medical treatments for him and his immediate family members, domestic servants and a monthly pension equivalent to the salary of the incumbent governor.

The man inserted another separate monthly 10 million naira and made it a law. He approved such too for deputy governor, ex speakers and their deputies. Lol

Let's say truth always and leave sentiments out our comments. Could party leaders have stopped Yari and the assembly members at the time? No. Dickson almost succeeded in Bayelsa state too if not for the assembly members that stopped him. What could have PDP leaders done to stop it? Nothing.
