Heh,you may not be right depending on the location and the States producing it.Nigerian Rice is delicious and stone free, not parboiled as in 'their foreign counterparts' which could have taken 2- years to get to our ports for distribution! The problem presently is with the high price that many Nigerians can not afford at N14,000.That is too expensive.Local rice should not be above 8K per a bag.Gov.shold subsidized further to help the common man.

Majority of Nigerians are now used to Nigeria rice,just make it more available and cheaper. If you eat coscharis or Big bull rice,you will never eat foreign rice again,just that they are still expensive

350 for Nigerian rice

400 for abroad rice

A lot of families will not be able to afford that, and all this is = sufferness.... Finish

I have to pick rice like beans.long grian quality rice was written on the bag only for me to meet with strange black round stones with consistent circular shapes. Still trying to find out what they are cos they don't look like normal stones let me not even talk about the rotten grains everywhere,so many black grains,smh

I'm in Lagos and the rice they have here is rubbish. So tasteless, i dont enjoy it one bit.

Thank God I'm not ebmven a rice person as such so I can afford to go for months without thinking of making rice meal.

What most Nigerians don't understand is that those foreign countries consume their local rice in their country which is exactly like Nigeria Rice but it's their Agro-Industry that is producing the standard that is very good for export.

And local rice is the best
It doesn't have preservative chemicals and no doubt of whether is plastic or not.
