Why must we do everything like animals. Why do people need to suffer to get ordinary national I.D cards.

This is the same thing that will happen by end of 2022/ beginning of 2023 when people start to struggle to get voters card. Inec is quiet and not doing anything ,yet collecting salary . Instead of allowing the process of registration for voters card an ongoing process, they won't. They'll rather wait till it's 2023 before they start preparing.

In Nigeria we always put the cart before the horse.

Immigration has data for Passport

Road Safety has data for Drivers licence

NCC has data for Sim Registration

Inec has data for Registered voters

Yet we do not have a centralised database for citizens.
Oh sorry we just woke up and suddenly discovered and now my people have to suffer all over again.

So sad...

May I beg the Leadership of JAMB to postpone the implementation of this policy to next admission program i.e 2021?

My people say you can't restore a child with Kwashiorkor just in one day. Though JAMB under the current Registrar has done what no one could imagine achievable in a decade in just three years, it is also known that the ills in our educational sector cannot be corrected in one day.

This last minute rush is being caused by lack of information or the lackadaisical attitude of some of the candidates. Jamb informed the public since Sep/Oct last year that NIN would be needed for this year's registration exercise, that was more than enough time to carry out this registration. Jamb on it's own ought to have carried out enough sensitization to ensure that all those who would be taking part in this year's exercise get the necessary information.

Sensitization wasn't the problem because JAMB dd enough in that part. The problem is that some people believed that it will be cancelled because it's been challenged by some group of pple while others are of the opinion that they will do later.
