It would seem to me as though you were attempting to do addition before multiplication, but I'm afraid that negates BODMAS. Kindly check the mathematics and explain give a more-detailed explanation. Thank you

Me thinks the problem is devoid of any intricacies whatsoever (employing BODMAS for instance). The signs are pretty much at both ends and not mixed up (like having the multiplication sign in the middle of both addition signs). I'd rather just evaluate all addition to a single number and multiply it by the number of times there ( i.e 7)
Its just like having 4 bananas and multiplying seven times to give sevenfold which is 28 bananas (in lieu of 2 o'clock plus 1 banana plus another 1 banana x 7 according the question)

If the signs where scattered, then i can talk of Bodmas

You can as well type the numbers in your calculator accordingly.
You'd definitely get 10 and not 28.
