Please can anyone confirm if FRSC drivers record helps to reduce insurance premium in Ontario province and which insurance company accepted it as a valid proof of driving experience

A country beyond redemption....I don't doubt this electricity bill figure as my sister in the U.S pays around same rates.... If Nigeria had a million refineries, our fuel subsidy will unfortunately increase, if Nigeria has the largest limestone deposit her citizens will still pay the highest price for cement...Nigerian Senators earn more than their counterparts in rich countries...for years, DSTV has been a monopoly, subjecting our citizens to terrible exploitation and no govt official has deemed it fit to change the narrative, provided their palms are constantly greased...Nigeria, a country beyond redemption....

Unfortunately
You just might be right

I highly doubt your FRSC letter would help you reduce Insurance premium. Your insurance record from Nigeria will help you reduce premium though.

Hello House. Please is anybody here with a degree in health discipline like pharmacy, medical laboratory science or Optometry doing a two years abridged nursing program in Ontario that will lead to the award of a Bachelor degree in Nursing science? Please share your experience and the school you are doing the program. You can also reach out to me privately.

Hi! My SO is an HSE professional. So there’s CRSP you can check it out. Unfortunately, they said my SO’s experience was more technical and advised CRST instead.

For jobs SO just kept on applying till one clicked. Luckily they dint care about CRSP or any other licences.

If you need any more info, you can holla. Best of luck.

Hi, please I would like to make an enquiry on being a safety professional in Canada. you can write CSP in Nigeria

Good morning all from Nigeria,
Please is there anyone that delivered a baby immediately after landing in Canada? Say, within a few days to a week? I need some walk through on the process from boarding/fit to fly and getting a GP/OBGYN in a very short period. Thank you

Hello @Dr. Ekpekus!

Please I would really appreciate your input regarding this when you have some free time, either here or via a DM.

Thanks in anticipation!

Good morning house!
Glad to finally be on this thread and hope to join you all in our dream land soon. We submitted our passports about 2 weeks ago and expecting COPR soon.
We are presently considering moving to Edmonton, Alberta in June, but have no family in Canada, so willing to change our minds to anywhere opportunities for advancement abound.
Please landed seniors in the Medical Field (@vcole, @ekpekus, and all others), please can you assist with advice on Clinical and Non-clinical pathways to employment for IMGs to explore in Canada?
Is there any pre-arrival program that may be helpful for Doctors? (I came across PASS for Nurses).
Most of the info (regarding pathways for Doctors) on this thread are from 2017. I have also read from other threads of the challenges of getting back into practice even after Passing the Exams (due to limited Residency slots for IMGs).
Please kindly assist with practical advice based on your experiences (and those of others you know).
Information regarding alternative careers one can explore will also be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for sharing and helping us make informed decisions.

Thanks for responding.
One month is long enough to get the necessaries.
I'm looking at the possibility of someone delivering within a week of landing.
Advisable or nah?

Even 1 day, just go to hospital if not time to get a gynea...at the hospital, dr on call will deliver ur baby simple

Thanks for responding.

What if someone has an emergency say delivering via C-section especially elective CS? I guess specialized doctors I.E obstetricians will have to handle, how fast can one be referred given the few days constraints?
Before leaving Naija nko, won't airlines pose a hindrance with fit to fly wahala?

No vex o.

My questions stem from so many landing gists and discussions I have read especially the old thread from 2017, one needs to be aware of what one is getting into make person no enter one chance. I read on the old thread about the wait time at hospitals for emergencies and fear catch me.

If anyone had same situation and will not want to give details on a public forum, kindly PM me biko. Thank you

Hi guys, please I have been driving here in Nigeria for about a year and a few months but i have not been able to get a license yet. I have seen from some posts that licenses below two years won't be accepted for use in Canada. So should I just not bother about getting one anymore or do I have anyother alternative or just to do their entire driving process from scratch when I get there?

Not advisable, cos everything here is appointment...one week is really too short to do all d necessary stuff

Very very especially if one has kids.
I'm just waiting for spring before I take the practice test. Last winter without a vehicle. Jesu! Who did I offend? grin

Hi SunshineD1
I strongly suggest you move your trip back. Travelling a week to delivery is NOT advisable
Please, 32-34 weeks of you cannot help it but preferably on or before 32 weeks.

All the best!
