Thank you so much@justmellow and dekere

Hello Juddytee,

She can go for a PGD/C in any course related to Business Administrative like Human Resources Management, Global Resources Management etc. Fanshawe, Conestoga, Centennial, New Brunswick Community College etc.

All the best[/quote]
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Crystalheart: 7:29pm On Jan 20, 2020
I have 2:1, does it mean pgd isn't advisable for me?
Once again, thanks for your prompt replies.

Anon123:

You need a course related to chemistry or like a branch of chemistry not offered in Nigeria... PGD/C is done by people which 2.2 and lower...

All schools in canada dont require IELTS as long as your transcript shows your course was taught in English. Conestoga, centennial, Algonquin, Manitoba, Humber etc. Google can show u more

You will start to get feedback from the school on admission decision from late February or early March.

As for amount needed, you will need to show that your living expenses and tuition and fees as stipulated by the school is covered by the amount in your SOA. Bear in mind that your sponsor shpuld have money to take care of you alongside his or her own expenses as well.

Not all schools take deposits.

Good luck.

Hello everyone.
Hope you all are doing well.

Been a while i came here, school work and dealing with winter wahala in Canada takes so much time off my hands.
Hope our Nairalanders in Newfoundland and Labrador, Halifax, are safe ooo. Please make una no use the weather play oooo. It aint funny being out there in this blistering cold. Frostbite is real!!!

Please I have a request to make, and it is quite urgent.
@JustMellow, @Frankrobbn1 @Naijaforeigner @Qudkom, @mcobex @Austacus @Bracha and others in this house, please your responses will be greatly appreciated.

My brother got a PPR, but has less than 6 months left on his passport. We though it is better for him to get a new passport, but we want to know if he can submit the new passport to CIC given his application was done using the info on the old passport.
If so what are your suggestions on how best to do this? Can he submit both? Do we have to a letter to CIC to explain the new passport?

Has anyone experienced this before, or been in this situation? If yes, what did you do?
Please everyone, your advise will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hey, house gurus

I'm new here and interested in pursuing an MSC (Educational Leadership) in Canada.

I completed my Bsc (Accounting) in Malaysia. My sponsor will be my mum, and she will be able to pay my full tuition and other fees in one go, even before the visa application. I have no issues with finances.

I am going for Educational Leadership because my family owns a school, whose management I am a part of. I plan to take over the school after my MSC. That's why I switched careers (From accounting to education). Will this fly to an embassy vo?

Also, I don't have any ties except for my job. Will that a problem?

PS: I was denied a US study visa in November 2019.

Hi there!
It’s amazing how we have similar intentions. With the whole school stuff, taking over from your parents when you graduate, change of course, everything lol!!!!
Honestly, as long as your reasons are justifiable, you’re good to go!
All the best smiley

No... if your application has passed your resumption time.. I advise you send the new admission letter immediately cos probably that's what is delaying your application

Okay thanks.. but I’m yet to receive my new admission letter

Hi bro, it s been a while.
Since his current passport will expire in less than 6 months, he should submit both to CIC cos CIC won't accept only the old(almost expired passport). Submitting both will do

Thanks, I really appreciate your input

JustMellow:

Hello Crystalheart,

As norm with the VOs, all they want to understand or see is either there is a career progression or self development in the choice program or course, which you weren't able to justify convincingly.

On the other note, it is always advisable to go for a program higher than the previous for easy connection with the VO based on study progression. Going for a Diploma after a B.sc isn't a good move except there is a justifiable reason.

You can choose to go on with the Diploma if you can justify your Diploma intention after a B.sc or you can apply for a PGD/C in any health related courses that can easily be connected to Chemistry. One advise, don't be in haste to reapply and endeavour to address the VO's concerns adequately.

All the best.

Alright bro. Please pardon my too many questions.. I will apply for Msc program in pharmaceutical chemistry, I don't know which institution yet..

My previous study visa application that was rejected was filed with practical nursing admission letter..

Do VOs consult previous application? If they do, could it negatively affect their judgement since my next application will be filed with Msc pharmaceutical chemistry admission letter rather than the practical nursing admission letter. Thanks..

Hello Gurus, Is anyone else who applied for a study permit against winter 2020 still yet to recieve any update on his/her application after biometrics?.
I put in my application nov 05(online), gave biometrics nov 19, since then no updates, I haven’t been asked to provide medicals. I hope my application will still be approved.

Now that you had done that nothing to fear again, they can’t just ban you straight away but they will send you an email to answer their query and that’s if eventually they didn’t see this your mail before taking a decision on your previous form, and when answering them, you will attached this letter you had sent to them and new updated form that you had corrected that earlier before now. But once they see your new update, they should act on it.

. Mr Fankrobbn1 have sent a web form sir and this with updated form. This was the response “ your request has been sent to the visa office processing your application. You should receive a reply within 28 days (by email, regular mail or fax). If your application is within normal processing times you may not receive a reply from the visa office. If your message contains new information for your application (e.g adding a newborn or change of address) your file will be updated but the visa office may not respond to your email. I hope it will be rectified and updated sir. Thank you for your response

Frankrobbn1:

The best and fastest approach to avoid been ban, is to quickly file a new corrected IMM1294E form, raise a CSE to Kenya immigration office, and briefly explain in the body of the mail that the previous form was wrongly filled and thus humbly requesting that the updated form should be appended with your processing application. On the other hand, you may request for your application be withdrawn. Either ways would work.
. Thank you bro. I sent the updated form through web form on their site and they acknowledged it but I’m not sure there is a way to copy the mail for future purpose if need be.

I’m sorry for asking too many questions but since I’ve done this, I hope it won’t affect their decision on my application.

P.S: is there a way to raise web form to a specific country on the CIC website?

Thank you
