Fools.

Why did you register them in the first place?

Did they meet the criteria for registering a political party?

okrote4real:

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC has deregistered 74 Political Parties.

The deregistration followed their poor performance in the 2019 general elections.

INEC chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu announced this during a press conference in Abuja today.

LEADERSHIP had reported on Tuesday of the plans by INEC to deregister the political parties that performed poorly in the last general elections.

The existing political parties now are: Accord, AA, AAC, ADC, ADP, APC, APG
A, APL, Labour Party, NNPP, NRM, PDP, PRP, SDP, YPP, Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) and Book party.

Details later...

More like Inec telling these parties to come back and register.
We all know that we will still see these parties again on the ballot papers in the next election

Something they would have done before the 2019 general election. Having lots of Political Party is irrelevant in Nigeria.

And before 2023 it will register 740 new political parties. The joke is on both the @inecnigeria and the mushroom political parties proliferating here and there.

Meanwhile will they refund their registration money??

Any purging with APC & PDP on the list is not massive.

These two parties are presently the problems of Nigeria.

Were they parties in real life in the first place. They only existed to the extent that their logos were stamped on the ballot papers and each held an inec-issued paper with a name and logo on it declaring it as "registered". Outside this valueless piece of paper, nothing else to show that a party existed.
