Are my eyes deceiving me or the guys with the first few answers joking? shocked

You mean some schools still pay secondary school teachers 13k in 2020?

Local woman cannot can. lipsrsealed

Look at you, some pay as little as 8k presently as we speak. In Lagos here, A friend of mine went for an interview in a private school recently and was told the pay is 8k. To teach 5 subject, 3 classes. He was just depressed on getting home , a bsc holder!

That's just too bad even for a School cert holder. Over seven years ago with just my Waec result, I got 7k as a kg2 assistant teacher.

That school must be a mushroom school.

*I can't disclose company.

Seeing ppls Salary up there sent shivers down my spine.

As at 2014 I didn't have any job. I picked up software development downloaded several video tutorials online and I started working. I dedicated more than 11 hours daily to this.
I would wake up 6 a.m. as if I was going to the office. Gradually improved and started building apps.
Then in 2016 January I got my first job in Lagos as a junior Dev. My salary was 120k. I learnt very fast on the job and improved my skills.

Within a year, I got inside also that paid me 250k alongside my current job. I also got promoted on my current job so my salary became around 180 k.

Then in 2018 I got another job with another company that was paying me over 500k. I kept improving and I was receiving promotion till my salary hit what it currently is well I kept my side job.

But even with my current job plus side also I still believe in entrepreneurship, so I started up my own company but I'm still funding it to make it profitable.
hello what programming language did you learn.... Thanks in advance

you may not really understand how it works. well, if you're a lady like your dp says we can try out. DM me I'll send your a ticket to Enugu where I stay, lodge you in a hotel, go out with you, and give you 100k when you're going back. I have a girlfriend for your information. Don't try sex with me. If you're pretty enough, I may accept your proposal. After that you make a thread on nairaland and tell your encounter with me. I'm waiting for your response.

Is this how the self acclaimed millionaire thinks? Your brain is not serving its default purpose.

In case you haven't noticed, technology is the air we breathe now. Data is the new oil. Having computer skills is not a plus, it is a necessity for survival even. I am not exaggerating. I have a friend who dropped out of National open university but works at sterling bank HQ at Marina as a software engineering consultant Earning 850k per month. When the demand for talented developers is extremely high and the supply is so low, your degree ain't worth shit if you don't have the skills.
As per having time on NL, Again I spend my life on the internet, I'm also active on Reddit. I work from home the internet is my office.

I want to work from home too, can you be of help please?

[quote author=Victoronah1 post=86422319] please, I don't make 2million dollars. I said naira. And also I said 1million in a week. I said I get 2million views. Lowers is 450k per week. Highest is 1mil per week. I get paid in USD. No need to tell you how to do the biz u can't. If you think you can, then you need a 6million naira cinema camera first. If you buy that then I can educate you. There are lot of rich people you don't know off
