That's good to know ..... Did they invite you for an interview before granting the Visa?
smartyG:

Fantastic.

Was also in Vienna, Austria 2018 September.

Went for a technical training. Was such an enjoyable experience. Hoping to make another trip there this year.

Submitted my application at VFS Lagos.

Please if a passport summited for visa is taking long to being approved is that a good or bad sign
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 9:18pm On Feb 10, 2020
You have to be patient for them to conclude checks.

Is this your first application or you frequent the area?

When did you submit? Give 15 working days

I applied for another country entirely and this is my first time but it's been more than 17 working days now, bad or good sign?

If I remember clear, took up to 3 weeks. As a matter of fact, notification for pickup of my passport came only about a 2 days to date I indicated I was traveling.

Not at all.

Made my submission through Lagos VFS.

Albeit, at some points they responded via mail asking for additional proof of financial capability. I'd only added my coy's Statement of Account during initial application. So I had to add mine when they demanded this. They called my company to confirm I work with them. Sure they called my hosting company in Austria as well

Please I want to know if anyone has an idea if I can request that my passport be given to me at the Austria embassy after the interview. I have an interview at us embassy 4 days after the interview.
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Kevrod: 2:01am On Feb 11, 2020
Please does anyone have an idea how I can speak with a contact at Austria embassy Abuja. It's very urgent pls
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Beverlyhills: 7:20am On Feb 11, 2020
You can try but that may lead to an express denial.

Isnt there a way to reschedule your US interview?

Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by approvedxxx: 8:50pm On Feb 11, 2020
Very true , that can lead to Automatic refusal, because you already given them the authority to carry out a check on your application, refusing to allow them conclude will lead to a cancellation of your application. I will advise you should reschedule your appointment with the other embassy and ensure your application is concluded . Good luck[Qquote author=Beverlyhills post=86550250]You can try but that may lead to an express denial.

Hi hardywaltz, I assume you've already submitted your application by now? If so, may I please know the total amount VFS France is now charging for visa applications? Visa fees + service fee. And hopefully courier service too. Thanks, I'd like to know the new total amount or estimate. And that's short term visa. (Even though I understand you applied for the Netherlands but it's still with France VF)

No i will be submitting next week. Been trying to gather my documents

Orange Bag doesn't indicate Netherlands application, the Black Bag is for first timer, red bag is for frequent traveler, orange bag is for a group/corporate application.

ATPx:

The French consulate represent the Netherlands. So you will be doing everything exactly like you are applying for France. Only difference is that your documents will be packaged in an Orange bag. You know Nederland = Oranje. So Orange color for you.

And the visa application center is VFS Global Lekki Lagos.

And to your question, this is the website https://visa.vfsglobal.com/nga/en/fra

I attended my interview this Morin at Austrian embassy Abuja. After all I was told that they will send my application to the Austria immigration and get back to me. The interview was quite tough anyway. Unnecessary questions were flying during the interview.

Please look through other pages for the requirements. (I will believe you have most of it). Write personal introduction letter justifying why you want to visit France. All the best.

2 is a must. Just one photo. But they have thier own specification

Others are equally compulsory except landed document which is essential as well.
