Hundreds of Olimpia fans welcomed the Togolese striker to Paraguay as he is set to play for Olimpia. Emmanuel Adebayor touched down in Paraguay and was greeted by hundreds of screaming Olimpia fans who were so excited about seeing him.
Adebayor, who turns 36 later this month, arrived in Paraguay overnight to a remarkable response from Paraguayan fans who greeted, took photos and chanted while he posed with his new club’s banner.

You've got the wrong guys. That's definitely Venezuela. Paraguay is OK. It is not so rich but it is one of the decent economies in South America. Small compared to the likes of Brazil, Argentina or maybe Chile but decent.

Besides, the club Adebayor is joining is one of the 3 biggest teams in that country. And it is well-run too. They play in CONMEBOL tournies too. Standard is quite high. Used to watch them back then.
