We are our own problem in Nigeria... We show the outside world how to treat us badly and complain when they do

Tiv and land

Its not tiv

Its idoma

TIV inhabits the northern and eastern parts of benue

Its the idoma part of benue that borders the Ebonyi and Enugu

igbos dont covet other people's land. It is these other people that are hoping to use the FG to demarcate other people's land into theirs. Igala people tried a few years ago to dash Igbos land in Kogi state, Igbos refused, then oil was discovered and all of a sudden, they began to lay claim to lands not theirs. The very fact that our neighbours live so close to their "enemies" should tell you the simple truth.

Well, Ebonyi has the biggest landmass in Igboland because they don't yield their land to non Igbos around them unlike other Igbo clans.

Ndiigbo should be grateful to Ebonyi people for maintaining our little landmass, half of Ebonyi landmass would have been appropriated by Ekoid clans in Cross River, and Idomas/Igedes in Benue and Cross River North, if not because the Igbo clans of Ebonyi are the fiercest and most brutal in land integrity maintenance.

Peace is good, but it must not be at the expense of our already small land mass.

Right.
We already have parts of Igbo clans in Ebonyi carved into Benue state by the FG, with Idomas now claiming those indigenous Igbo people as migrants in their own ancestral lands. Many of them will not even acknowledge the existence of these Aboriginal Igbos.

This comment shows you are not from the south east because if you were you should have known that enugu has the higher landmass in the east.

By the time they close that border now they'll start begging, cos I'm sure they bring their farm produce to eastern states to sell and Ebonyi is the only access route for them..keep pushing Ebonyi people, na Jos-lokoja road una go dey pass

I can't even phantom how people in this current age will make trouble over land issues fighting their own brothers just because of farmland.. They should channel that energy to sambisa forest and fight the real enemies since they are so energetic enough to fight.

True.
But Ebonyi lands seem to be less erosion prone and more agriculturally friendly.

And nope, I'm from the SE.

In comparison to the population, Ebonyi has the biggest landmass in Igboland, that's the point I'm trying to make. They have more reserve lands for development.
