Sometimes the keyboard will just seize and stop working, after some time, it'll start working again and the battery is just so messed up, laptop that I've not even used well enough and its just 1year old. Please guys, I need help.

Short version: my laptop hates batteries.

Long version: I can't say for sure what the problem is. The original follow-come battery started with not lasting long after like 2 years, to not charging fully no matter how long it is connected to ac source, then to dying off completely. Maybe because I didn't replace it immediately, my laptop developed a dislike for batteries. The second one didn't even last more than 3 months. Drained until it wouldn't charge at all. Last month I bought this new one and now, it's not charging.

They all have the common feature of "plugged in, charging" but always at 0%. Nothing online seems to help and now I feel maybe sth is wrong somewhere other than the battery itself. What do you advise?

Most likely, you've tried other chargers. If that's right then your laptop has a problem with Charging IC (a micro controller on the board). Take it to a technician and have it repaired. The problem is with your laptop and not the batteries.

Thank you for the response. I was beginning to think no one would reply me.

For the laptop, I did think of buying genuine one before I got this third one but I'm worried about getting fake in place of original. Where do you suggest I can get it? And can you give me an estimate? It's a HP notebook 15 laptop

With that error you described, it's most likely that even another OEM battery will do the same. You can give it a try but I recommend that you have the mother board checked

Can upgrading from Windows 8 to 10 help?

No, it won't because Window 10 will end up installing the same wireless driver as window 8. Besides, weak signals are usually not software related

HP elitebook 8560w not detecting Battery after motherboard replacement.
When it's off, the battery indicator light will be blinking red.
Any solution to this?

Do this in these order:
Use other chargers
Change battery
Change both (bat and charger)

Finally, your mother board is the problem

I thought the price would be higher

Thanks

It's very cheap because you're getting a cracked software. (It's simply a pirated software).

Am learning something from YouTube videos, which requires me to download a file and Extract the content.

Am supposed to get JPG, SVG and AI file.
But when ever I extract I don't get the SVG file which is even the one I needed most.

Please Is it from my system or what could be the reason?

Which file are you trying to extract? Are you sure the SVG file is present in the 'archive'?

The battery should be replaced. this you know already.

The main issue which is the keyboard should be observed by you for sometime to know when exactly and what to do to make it seize. For example, you can start your observation with answering questions like;

Does it seize when I plug or unplug charger?

Are all characters on the keyboard working when it's in use?

Does it seize when I run/open a particular program? and so on

But if you're not ready, you should try replacing the keyboard to see whether the problem persists.

Which soft tool are you using to extract it. You should be sure that you're using the same tool as the Youtube instructor. Also, you might want to confirm the photo extension tyoe (.jpeg, .png, .json etc) that he used as all this image extension work differently. There is also the raw format taken ny professional cameras... I've forgotten the extension for this one but its very different from other photo types.

I do not think the problem you're facing has anything to do with your laptop.

Is that the required software according to the tutorial?

Is your source image (the photo you're working with) format the same with what was used in the tutorial?

There was no mention of the type of software

Yes

Maybe I'll ask someone to download and extract it for me to see

okay. But it doesn't seize when plugged or unplugged. When I start typing a doc, while at it, it will just seize like that. Thanks a lot for your input.

Have replaced a motherboard
Amd 1.20gh on a 3gb ram Hp pavilion Dv6000 that was on windows 8 on a previous intel core i2 1.80gh processor

My problem now is, immediately i boot the system i must select boot sequence on each time, even on restart. The network is doesn't allow de system to boot except i remove it
After successfull boot speakers are not playing even with headphones, not all keyboard works.

Please ideas on how to fix this, my only guess is to format and reinstall OS, any other contributions are welcome

Good afternoon. Please I need an help urgently.

I transfered a file from my phone to my laptop through bluetooth and I was already having a file with same name in my bluetooth folder already.

But after transferring that one, I couldnt find the previous file again except the newly transferred one. Please how could I recover the previous file ?
Note : I have clicked on properties to restore the previous version, but it was only bringing the blank copy of it (how the file was before I worked on it from onset).

Please how can I get back my worked on file ? Please help me, I cant imagine myself going back to start the work all over again. The work was so tedious, pls help. Thank YOU.

For the boot sequence selection, go to your BIOS setup and make your hard disk the 1st boot device to boot from. Next disable Network Boot and save. You can now exit and boot system without having to select boot

For the network card, the system is not booting because the network card you're trying to use is not compatible with the newly installed motherboard. You'd have to get a compatible network card for your new board. I guess you're trying to use the card that was working with the Intel board on the AMD. It won't allow the system to boot because they aren't compatible.

For the speaker, two things are involved, either you've not installed sound drivers for your new board or your new board has hardware fault assuming that the speakers are working before the replacement.

Keyboard can be funny, they work now, the next minute, PUFF! They start malfunctioning. For this, just try another keyboard. It's rare for thr problem you're facing to be software ISH.

Were you not told that a file with that name already exist and whether you'd like to replace or not?

Anyways, your best bet is file recovery solution. You can Google search for programs that can help you do that. Photorec, Easeus, Do my data recovery etc. are available. Trial version allows for very few files recovery which in your case is enough.

Next time, pay attention to displayed warnings grin

Your laptop case is interesting. grin You can try uninstalling the drivers for your keyboard and mouse under device manager. Restart your laptop. Window will re install the drivers. This sounds like conflicting hardware drivers. Just try that.

After answering the question asked above, you should also tell us how many times the CapLock indicator blinks...

How many ram modules do you have installed...?

This is either a Ram problem or a fault on the motherboard.

You should try removing the ram module(s) from the PC and pick another module that you're sure that it is working. Try this one module in both slots (one after the other) to see if problem still remains. Also, be sure that the board you're working with requires the exact type of ram you're using. Example, usually DDR3L slot won't work with DDR3 Ram and vice versa.
