People have been brainwashed that a dollar is more valuable to Naira.
They are also brainwashed that all major construction companies are foreign-owned.
The brainwashing is so bad when they lie that all our weapons are imported when
we actually make them all in Abuja; mortars, guns, and gunships.

Just look at our medical manufacturing industries churning out PPEs and nose mask to help the
less developed Europeans.

The brainwashing must stop, it is time we face reality.
Yes and you are the greatest brainwashed individual on earth for being unable to see the lies of western prosperity. There is no prosperity anywhere. Prosperity is dead! Free yourself and stop being a proud slave. Western countries are glorified shithole living under a bubble that just got busted

No single governor is taking this disease seriously.
They say there is a stay at home order but when you go out, you see Okadas in parks and large group of people in Motor parks arguing.
The government can only do and say so much. Sanwo Olu is really trying but Lagosians are not listening. We really need to change our attitudes

Well, this figures doesn't include the people they probably refused to go and pick up neither does it include those who they diagonised wrongly or simply sent away due to fear.

Nna and nne, please be safe out there. The figures might sound fair and safe. the truth is, it's good to give yourself an air of peace but please assume the worst and stay safe

Much love

Despite the lockdown in many states. This is as a result of the slack response by the Government in the first place

My take: it is futile expending valuable resources and energy trying to prevent it's spread. The only way this can go away is when a cure is found and/or a vaccine developed.
The sheer ease of transmission and infection makes mockery of all these "quarantine", "isolation", "social distancing" and other terminologies brandished by authorities as a way of demonstrating they are doing something.
How long will national economies and the general world economy sustain a lock down? 2weeks?, 1month? 3months?
Like malaria and HIV, corona is something we all have to come to terms with as another disease that has come to stay. All these initial gra gra of locking down will soon fizzle out.

The lockdown will create awareness

Like you pointed out, the world cannot hold on the lockdown for so long

WHO says that many vaccines are currently undergoing clinical trials, so it will likely be ready in 12 months.

On the other hand, the United Kingdom is projecting that things will return to normalcy in 6 months.

That is, people will get used to living safely with the virus until the vaccine is finally ready

You guys are clowns. This got nothing to do with the kind of government. America, Canada are now looking like third world shitholes with piles of dead bodies everywhere. In fact they have always been shitholes but the average nigeria is brainwashed to think we have it bad here when nigeria is the best and most developed country in the world. Western societies living under a bubble.
God bless you...You get sense

Thanks for this. We just have to accept this and put personal hygiene priority first. We can't have a crumbling economy. How long are we going to be locked down without salaries and food. It's getting crazy! At some point, people will throw caution to the wind.

Ortom has confirmed his foolishness with that move.
The patient is now denying that she was positive in order to save face.

More cases will come from Benue because people who get very sick will be forced to go for treatment
but not before spreading it wide. It is better to be stigmatized than to be dead.

Yea, you are right!
