Mr exposed. I'm not saying 5g is d caused of covid'19 ooo but if they finally launch it, pls stay close to the mast for 5hrs n come here to tell us we go school. I'm not xtain tho but 5g z very deadly to human. We talking bout 60hz man.. Get sense 60hz !!!!

Do you realize hertz simply means "per second"?

So what you wrote there is just simply "60 per second".

And where has standing close to a mast been a problem? I'm sure you sleep with your phone under your pillow, do you then realize that is more or less the same thing?

Oh let's not forget there are a number of radioactive household items you own but you're alive and functioning.

You, my dear sir, are infinitely dense.

You don't need a 5g phone to suffer effect from the electro magnetic field from masts and cables

Hello @Macphenson, it is very commendable to appreciate your concern with respect to the 5G Technology and its perceived relation to the spread of the novel Coronavirus. Truth is there is this unease with some Nigerians as to whether the 5 G technology is already in operation in Nigeria or not. Now, I think it's good to set the record straight: first, the statement of the Minister of Communication, Isa Patanmi,in relation to this is accurate and there is no discrepancy with the MTN's memo you posted. He actually mentioned it on Channel's TV while being interviewed that only a trial of this 5G technology took place last year, and that he was the one that conducted the trial. He further stated that licences were not yet given, as the Federal Government is still assessing everything about the new technology. You may check this video link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLQbXPSunQ0

Second, it's very important to be knowledgeable in the field of Physics and Biology or at least do ones personal research from recognized Journals before one can have a good understanding of this linkage of 5G Technology with the spread of the Coronavirus. I can tell you that Electromagnetic Waves Radiations or Frequencies have nothing to do with the spread of this virus. At least, for now, there is no reputable scientific Journal that has this information. I think some of us need to do a bit of our research on areas outside our expertise before circulating unverified information as this, which could cause panic on others, especially the illiterates who usually depend on hearsay to build their opinions. If my stance on this 5G Technology vis-a-vis its connection to this pandemic is proven wrong by a superior scientific evidence, I will gladly take back my statements.

Those individuals that are hurling insults on the Minister, talking about his choice of religion, dress code, and preferred style of appearance, should understand that it is only prudent to respect his choice of personal lifestyle, which has nothing to do with his competence. The man is surely deserving of this position judging by his profile. I'm not his PA neither have I met him in person but I think we, Nigerian youth, would do a great good for ourselves if we improve on our fact finding skills before commenting on any issues of national discourse, or any information available on the social media at all. It is well with us all.

This is quite apt. Most youths find it extremely difficult to carry out research. They take delight in hearsay

With the recent brouhaha surrounding the 5G network all over the world, prompting the Federal government to issue a statement that nobody has been licensed to operate a 5G network, I stumbled across this memo from MTN Nigeria saying they have tested 5G in Nigeria.

The minister said yesterday that the trials of the 5G was done using the 4G network since no one has 5G cables or network here in Nigeria .But the question is why would you use 4G to test 5G? I didn't get that right. You want to know the taste of meat and you are using a fish, does it make sense ? Now MTN is saying they tested it with 5G .Who is telling us lies here, the Federal Government or MTN ?

Absolutely none. 5G ranks very low on radiation scales. It does not weaken the immune system neither can it transfer a virus.

The colleagues of movie star Funke Akindele who was arrested and arraigned over violating the social distancing rule have expressed sympathy with her colleagues and called for leniency over the case in court. Most of her colleagues took to their Instagram handles to express their sympathy as they equally prayed for her. They acknowledged that the African Movies Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA) award winner had been of good behavior over the years and had contributed meaningfully to the growth of the Nigerian entertainment industry. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Akindele was arrested on April 5 for violating the Lagos State rule of social distancing in view of the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic.Akindele contravened the state rule when she organised an indoor birthday party for her husband JJC Skillz at their Amen Estate, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, the party which had over 20 people in attendance.Actress Bidemi Kosoko wrote on her Instagram handle:“You can’t be broken sis because God is on your…

’I would like to clarify as follows that: the National Frequency Management Council (NFMC), of which I am the Chairman, has not deliberated on or released any bulk frequency spectrum for the deployment of 5G; no license has been issued for the deployment of 5G in the country.

‘‘A 3-month study trial commenced on the 25th of November, 2019 in order to critically review and study the health and security implications of deploying 5G in Nigeria; as part of the study trial process, I directed the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to ensure that a team of experts, security agencies and other stakeholders fully participate in the trial process and my office also invited these agencies to participate in the trial; and ‘‘The trial process has been concluded and the study and reporting process is currently ongoing.’’

Do we have problem in reading or problem is not understanding what we read? White man have said it, to put black man into confusion jus put to written. What's dubious here from govt? He said November 2019, on mtn memo 28th nov 2019! So if one of this network is not a material or specimen to test, will nigeria buy 5G mast on it's own to test? Or may be u expected NITEL to have it tested! Simple english.. no license to operate 5G n not no license for trial. It's a bad spirit to find fault or rebellious oo.. u will miss many things in life n be a conspicuous fools. Let be guided .
