Hi nairalanders, There is something I just don't understand about the airtel 4G MIFI with 25G data which I bought from an airtel office... I bought this MIFI on friday only get home and have it fully charged for use as I was instructed, when I turned on the device and connected it to my phone I started browser and chatting with it I even downloaded videos and watched some videos on facebook with it... but when I tried chatting on Facebook messenger, I found out that I am unable to receive or send out message through the Facebook messenger.... After several efforts and trials I thought Facebook messenger was where the problem was coming from, as I thought their servers might be down, the following morning I same thing kept happening,I then tried updating my messenger which took hours but yet didn't update, I tried downloading a messenger lite but it kept loading and didn't download, to cut the story short I can't even send email once my phone is connected to the MIFI but whenever subscribe my other airtime line in my phone I get access to message sent on facebook messenger and email also,these things happens in my both phones whenever its connected to this MIFI so am convinced it's not from my phones
I have being calling airtel customer care all day to rectify this issues but the options to speak with the customer care are not even listed... What do I do? going back to their office would cost me alot of money again as this locked down movement too dey hard

You didn't realise that you have consumed the 25Gb already and u need to resubscribe

As am talking to you I am still browsing with it and can still download and watch videos with it... I haven't even used upon to 3GB out of the 25GB data

experience it briefly change ur dns to google dns primary 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

go to the modem url http://192.168.0.1
then click on setting _>>enter your username and password which is admin admin if u have not changed it
click on dhcp settings
click on dns configuration switch and enable it then enter dns1 and 2 8.8.8.8 nad 8.8.4.4 then click save thats all ,sorry for the late response

Hello, kindly assist ... I got my swift modem hacked so it could use any network ! How do I access my current sim settings since I just got a new Airtel 4G sim ?

hello brother I’m having same issues currently on my Airtel mifi
Mine is that I can’t even use the 25gb bonus data at all
I tried configuring based on what you wrote above, but it seems that the method is outdated

Router airtel sim doesnt work on router mifi. How can I make it to work on mifi
