I had a similar issue but my case was different as the sim was a new glo sim...probably the previous user of the sim did something wrong...but i sent a message to support and it was unblocked....screenshot below

I was surprised to receive a message requesting me to register my number again in the whatapp messenger app to chat.

I tried registering and I got a message saying I have been banned from using what's app. I tried RE registering all to no avail. Does anyone have similar experience?

Happened to me a long time ago. I wanted to sign up for whatsapp but did not get the activation code so i reapplied for it still nothing then i applied again and got one and tried to use it but it did not work. After several trials to get a matched activation code i finally got blocked. But after like two weeks i tried again and it went true

I check through the first page I notice nobody is giving you correct answer

Well there are two type of bans namely temporary ban and permanent ban

Temporary are bans for people that use GbWhatsApp, yowhatsapp after the countdown it will unblock

Permanent ban occur when you goes against whatsapp rules and regulations, sending many msgs at once, passing out wrong info. Esp on covid etc

Solution
Send an email to whatsapp please they should unblock that you just notice you are blocked then tell them you have read terms and conditions of whatsapp

You will be unblocked in less than 48hrs
Mind u after unblocking once same issue happen again they won't answer you.... Lol
I just pass through same isssh last month.

Banning my number this lockdown is not funny at all. Most of my friends family and clients are connected to this number.

Initially I thought someone hacked my account but from the look of things it must be some videos I shared on my status recently about network.

No warning..
No pre information...
