I don't think you can take legal action against him and win.
He gave you time to settle or refund or even communicate but you ignored him.

Hello,

I dont seem to understand you. Do you request for refund from someone having tagged them scammer online without first knowing things?

Or show any proof of scam apart from blurred invoice and chat?

Someone came online to defame my agency with no proof just mere accusations and thoughts...

If he is not satisfied with a service, initiate a refund, then wait if your request is not granted but no, he came alone and start saying someone scammed him. And he now wants a refund? Do you know how many people have seen this?

(Moderators: adewasco2k, Slyr0x)

If he does not remove that hing Goggle will index it for you

I refer everyone to this old Nairaland thread: https://www.nairaland.com/3791730/latest-fraudster-scammer-town-abiodun

You will all see that the image SmartzNation used in his Facebook profile which I posted above, is the same profile image used in the scam perpetuated as far back as 2017 by a similar name ABIODUN ISAIAH ODUNAYO.

Just chk out the thread and see the scam done.

Now it is either SmartzNation is the same person as that guy in 2017 or what do you guys think?

This guy called Odunayo A Balogun or ABIODUN ISAIAH ODUNAYO AKA SmartzNation is one and the same criminal who scammed me of my 50k.

He lost faith in you and your brand, labelled you a scam and requested for a refund. You could have refunded him and then ask him to tender an unreserved apology on here and retract his claims. That simple!

You dont want to refund his money because he called you a fraud or because he is not patient enough? Right on his first thread, he made it known that he was interested in a refund and didn't want to continue again. The issue could have died immediately you did just that but its been days already and you are yet to refund him.

I'm guessing you wish to but have spent his money, right? He is an aggrieved customer whose project you've never started. Why it took you decades waiting to start is what I don't understand.

If you take the legal route here, you'll not only refund him, but you'll also pay for the emotional and psychological stress he's been through.

Thomasina, take his details to the business section already. There's a thread there for scammers.

Dominique, please prevent a so-called business agency from continually duping people here.

@Sanchez01

Thanks for this.

If i may explain to you, the project started already and we have acquire backlinks and other things which was explained to him.

He asked for report which i told him will be sent to him the day he asked for it or next. The new,t day, he called with no response due to some issues. Next thing is he coming here tagging me a scammer.

I didn't even see all this not until some people started sending me links to all his posts and all that.

So, its not as if his project didnt commence, its just that that guy had been mischievous from day one. He is the type that can call you 100 times at a stretch and lack manners..

And for that legal route, that is being handled presently. We will see how it pans out.

Once again, thanks for your input.

Hello, I remember you said clearly that his project hasn't started and that his money would start reading the moment you start. I remember this clearly. And I also remember saying that simplifies the entire refund process since you were yet to start.

If you claim you've started at this point as against what you said the last time. Then come to a discussion with him and discuss how much you'd charge for backlink services, putting into consideration the number of backlinks that have been executed.

Truth is, Thomasina hasn't done any damage to your brand. You did yourself. If you had managed him properly and made him feel safe, I'm sure all of these wouldn't be happening. All he wants is a refund right now. Honour this and ask him to retract his claims.

Clients don't lack manners. Their money is at stake and they have every right to be agitated. If yours was, you might have done more than he is doing right now.

Legal route over N50k? Know this, even if you managed to maneuver your way out, I doubt any reasonable person would want to do business with you and your brand and I am only being honest here. It is not enough to come out clean in this case. The money you've set aside for legal issues should be used in refunding him and nothing else.

SmartzNation must be very hardened and unrepentant criminal!

A criminal issue was raised about you as far back as 2017, you didn't respond to the issue, instead, you posted my photo and address with a message that is in a tone that looks like a threat. I can't wait to see you and your thugs/lawyers in front of my gate.

For the first time since this case began you posted a screenshot of my address - which is by the way meant for public consumption - but you failed to post any screenshot to prove the work(s) you have done on my site (if there was ever any)!

Now I am uploading another screenshot that confirms you were the same person who scammed a Nairalander in 2017, refer to this thread https://www.nairaland.com/3791730/latest-fraudster-scammer-town-abiodun.

The profile picture in the screenshot shows your image again, as well as the HAVIVAR site you used in duping Ihechi2011 (the victim) in 2017.

Is it coincidence that your image keeps appearing online for different fraudulent reasons?!

Anyone still thinking of transacting business with this dude is on his/her own.

Shocking enough he has opened another website by name pawagap.com and continued his business of collecting money and doing nothing.

When you ask for refund you get nothing.

Sure his name is Abiodun Odunayo
