I think it's nokia because you can upgrade the android version for two version. E.g if buy a new nokia phone with android 10, when android 11 and 12 comes out you can upgrade to those versions. Thereby making the user still relevant

Don't spoil ur fone because u want to do upgrade. Phone Upgrade notifications are normally sent to fones by d makers. In as much as u haven't received any go-ahead to upgrade, better don't it

sometimes, update makes phone slow. This is as a result of you patronising the newer devices.

Maker as in the phone maker na. (tecno).
They normally send push msgs to fones that are compatible for upgrade or updates. If u don't receive such msg to update or upgrade Ur fone, no need for u to do it. (because not all fones are qualified to be upgraded)

As for the app Ur trying to download, that u can't download it is not the end of life for u. Look for alternatives (if there is).

If u still don't undstand, ill advise u meet one on one with any friend of urs that is knowledgeable on phone matters. Let him explain beta to u one on one

Mind u, I can see u still dunno wot upgrade/update means.

Just the same thing as updating Ur Facebook app to the latest version. Why? For better performance and new stuffs.

Another example is laptop/computer systems. U can upgrade from Windows 7 to 8 or to Windows 10.

Windows is an operating system (OS)
Android is an operating system
Apple has its own operating system as well. (iOS I guess)

U can have just one of these on Ur device. And each operating system (OS) has different versions (upgrades).

Ur fone is operating on android and the version is Android 8... Officially, u can't upgrade to android 9 or 10 because TECNO did not send u a push msg for u to go ahead. Some tech guys do it btw but with some demerits like slowing down, crashing, misbehaviors and so on.

In conclusion, it is advisable u don't upgrade Ur fone from android 8 since u didn't receive the go-ahead. U can keep using the blockchain website for Ur transactions
