]Programmers in the house, I'm programmer wannabe, I've been learning C#. I'm quite familiar with the syntax but really can't seem to make anything reasonable from it aside from simple console and windows form programs. The whole thing is driving me nuts and i really wanna learn coding badly.

Look for big projects to do online, or...maybe think of some kind of system you will find useful and create that

My candid advice, is try as possible to learn the architecture of how a computer works.

Learning programming is not the main thing, cus you may not know what to do with it.

Practically involve yourself in solving real life problems using mathematical techniques.

Programming is all about solving problems, become a researcher and develop your analytic skills.

Many programmers in Africa, don't know what to achieve with it, because they fail to understand the architecture of a computer.

Very true, learning the syntax and fundamental concepts is not enough. Most of my time is spent drawing out how I'm going to apply these things to create whatever it is I'm doing. Your suggestions are good, along with practice, practice, practice, that's why he should find projects to do or think of a useful system himself

. I assure you this, you will be frustrated if you continue with the same route. My advice goes thus: Ask yourself what makes you pick interest in programming, and why do you start from C#, I believe only you can answer this. If your interest is born out of curiosity, I will advise you to move from window form to ASP.NET CORE MVC. (You can create an imaginary project with this. A CRUD app will not hurt. From here, I believe you will have a fascinating direction in the Microsoft Ecosystem.

However, if your interest is in mobile app development. I will advise you to go with hybrid app development by learning HTML5, CSS3, Javascript. And finally choose your framework between Ionic/Angular React Native, Flutter or NativeScript.

That said, if data is what you wanna settle with, Python will be your best choice.

I hope this will help you.
