I think you missed her point. She’s just saying any person earning 400k in Nigeria will do fine. If the person decides to go out of the Country - they would have to start over from the scratch. If they do, they shouldn’t whine about it.

I think that’s a fair point to make.

And although you are entitled to your opinion about Nigeria - it’s not altogether true for everyone.

I don’t know what you mean by poor standard of living but there are People who earn far less than 400k who are living comfortably (I am talking 200-350k). I have families/friends who are - so Nigeria is not altogether bad.

It may not be perfect in Nigeria - but it’s not perfect anywhere too. When you think about it - the best thing about the west is to raise your family (particularly Children). In my opinion, Apart from that, every other thing is secondary.

How much is 400k when your children school fees alone is 500k

My neighbour, a senior banker left his job here in Nigeria. He earns that 400k in 2 weeks in Canada with basic amenities in place.

His Children school over there is FREE

Let's be realistic, welcome to Nigeria were people want to earn high without the necessary skills,qualification and experience.

Even in Canada, you must have the proper Canadian skills, qualification and experience to earn high.

Most people don't understand, if you earn 50k per month in Nigeria, it is very difficult for you to immigrate, you will be living a life of immigration fantasy, how are you going to raise fund for block account of 30 to 40k Canadian dollars on 50k salary

If you are earning areasonable income in Nigeria(400k-800k nd above) you can seek for for better paths by migrating and not when your earning a low income you decide to move to canada you will just make your self stranded
And for those that wish to migrate to canada you have to have a teasonable amount of cash maybe lyk 1million or 600k just to start up a new lyf.

I have a teenage friend in canada and this guy sends me credits lyk almost evrytime i ask him.He said he has a job
In places ltk canada pple work based on time for example ma friend told me he earns $150 per 6hrs of work WITHOUT BREAK.
