Sounds like bullshit to me?

Where is the science backing crossing Zamfara cows with Jersey cows as a milk producer?
Anyway the general idea is a good one , needs more research and evidence

Why are we not looking at cows from India?

There are civilized ways to rear cattle, cows e.g. ranching, but the Fulanis here don't want to spend money on cattle feed, reason they embrace open cattle grazing and destroying people's farmlands.

Yorubas will teach them how it is done as usual and before you know it, their elites (the cattle owners) will learn to do the right thing.
Development opportunities plenty for Nigeria and Africa.

I won't agree with your first paragraph. The Fulani's are ready to take the path of fortune if only they can be psycho-educated on the best way to rear their cows. The problem they have is their leaders. They have been brainwashed.

Other SW governors take note. There is a great need to diversify from skull mining.

There's really no need for these type of comments...

No you don't need rocket science
the issue is milk productivity of the chosen cross and the ability to survive in our weather and against local parasites

The reason I mentioned India is they have similar conditions to ours and have a history of exporting breeds to Brazil and continue to send millions imof dollars worth of bull semen to Brazil

There is plenty of existing research from Brazil
We should learn from that. Colonialist brought Jersey cows in the past and they did not survive Trypanosoiasis

Oyo state governor, if you or your people are reading this, what the past government did to the dairy farm in Ibadan was nothing short of a crime against the people.

Engr Seyi Makinde, please make the move to reclaim the dairy farm o.

Oyo state residents need milk and dairy products.
