I had my intro April despite the lockdown because my fiance and I with our parents stay in the same state. And we hopefully chose September for the wedding.

I think the August can still be possible as things will come back to normal soon, at least, hopefully.

mine is January 4th 2021,introduction done already, white/traditional wedding same day.
I don't even know which colours to combine,am so confused. Someone's experience with aso-ebi colour combination will highly appreciated,Pictures will be awesome too.

I hope . the worst is things have gone up. Imagine spending 60k to buy pre-wedding & intro cloth with the sawing.

Finally a thread for me
We planned our wedding introduction for May 31st (this Saturday) but due to the pandemic we postpone it till mid nextmonth. We will both be travelling from different part of the country to my state for the intro and there is interstate lockdown, we had to postpone till when the interstate lockdown will be lifted.

Wedding will be December by God's grace.
Making list of what and what I need to buy (my outfit ) for the intro and making a budget.

With lockdown and dwindling finances, how can one cut down cost on white wedding given that the church cannot be used as reception venue? Or better still, how can one do only white wedding with just 700k?

Presently at the dilemma of choosing wedding color.
Intro done and dusted, wedding day picked and it's preparation time.. arrrgghh I'm exhausted

it's very possible. The location matters tho, in lag or Abuja hall alone will take about 500k
So if u remove reception hall money and u still have some reasonable amount then it's possible, just do not over spend, remember theres life after wedding, and with the whole pandemic one has to always make smart decisions especially with money .
