Why does God give you willpower to do whatever you like? It is because you will be tested for your belief in Him. Angels are not tested and no calamity befalls angels because they have no willpower. The innocents that get consumed in God’s punishment are treated differently from the guilty on the day of judgement. But it is incumbent on innocent to warn the evil ones about punishment from God if they did not stop their evil. Because everyone will be consumed in such punishment.
