Daddy Freeze took to Instagram to state that Lucifer is not Satan and he blamed the misconception on the King James version of the Bible.

He said King James Bible is the “modern day slave book” and warned Christians to “use it at your own peril.”

I have seen the error and I know it came from King James and it appears an error in translation, but then who knows what was truly going through the mind of the king when the error was introduced -- it may have resulted from an error in interpretation.

Satan the way I understand it means "the adversary" or the opposing force. Lucifer is his identity. Just like other spirit beings had their identity and names. The adversary or Satan is a description or descriptive title. Same way God is LORD.

Satan is in fact revered by all those who worship God.
In the old testament, Satan was revealed along with the Sons of God. He is meant to be revered by men, just as is the way with the Angels. In the book of Zechariah, we have an example where even an Angel did not rebuke Satan directly.

Sometimes we search for truth that is already with us. Freeze isn't searching for truth but for trending. I have no issue with that as that's his life. But using the bible or mis representing a translation to trend is a shallow one. He should fix his priority right.

And with you, I asked, what is the mistake of king James, you haven't shown me.

1. Is using Lucifer a misplaced word in that verse or it means the same?

2. Is the meaning of Lucifer and Satanas same thing in Latin?

3. Did King James called Lucifer Satan?

Where did Freeze got it that king James is misleading people for using Lucifer, if not that he himself have been misled by myth of refering to Satan as angel Lucifer. He should get himself together and decide where he stands than misrepresenting the bible and God's people.
