Good evening fam. I just moved to a new location and decided to try out home pepper production. But I’m having problems identifying as I planted different species of pepper(including the one we call Bass and Tatashs).
So I would love if I can be helped in identifying them. So I can uproot the rest. Thanks.

So sad. I planted quite a number of them.
Why didn’t they germinate?
And please, can you show me a picture of a pepper plant?
Thanks for your contribution boss. I’m grateful

Yes, all weeds.
Thanks for your time bro.
Do you have any idea why they didn’t germinate?
I planted about 3 sets of 40-50 seeds

Are you sure you selected the right pepper seeds, or maybe they haven't germinated yet. I think you should get new pepper seeds and plant again

I don’t even know sef. I’m just trying to do homegrown pepper.
I planted the first set about 6weeks ago and the second set should be about 3weeks a go .
I would get new pepper seeds though z But is there a special process or something that I’m missing?

it could be lot of reason but one of it could be that the seed are bad

Times like this can be annoying, plant seeds sometimes don't germinate, I have experienced that too.
seeds vary, some seeds can be bad, some old, etc. I think what you should do is :
1 Get fresh pepper, those ones looking red have ripe and good seeds.
2 make sure the garden is free from weeds, maybe you mistook weeds for pepper, obviously, your garden was filled with weeds.
3 During planting, make sure the hole is not too deep, the depth of the hole should be half the length of my index finger, maybe you planted to deep, that is why it failed to germinate.(Spreading the seeds on the ground is not a sure thing, birds might eat them).
4 water generously, water makes seeds germinate.
5 while waiting for sprouts, weeds will surely return, please remove them so that while the sprouts appear, weeds will not kill them. Probably, weeds killed the previous ones you did.
This should work, follow this and I believe you will be happy to see pepper plants. Thank you

Good morning bro. I’ve started replanting but in nylon bags. Please can you give me a breakdown of how many seeds is okay per bag and any other information that would help. Thanks!

I can see it germinating, if it is, congratulations. Well, plant some seeds in the bag, after it germinates, care for it well, then select the best, let at least one or two grow in the bag. Let your plants receive at least six hours of sunlight and water well. Let me see updates as soon as your plants start growing

The more light it receives, the faster it grows. How many bags do you want to plant pepper plant.( Do not grow too much in a bag, overcrowding will kill them)

I plan to plant as much as 15bags and later transplant them to my farm(I hope they can be transplanted?).
I made the mistake of putting too many seeds(about 10) in the first bag because to me, it was an experiment. And now that they’re germinating, I plan on transplanting some to another nylon bag when they’re a little more matured.

Ok. when you move the plant from the bag to the ground, please water very well when you transplant to the ground so that it won't go into shock

Alright boss. I also noticed that the seeds I planted that led me to opening this thread have all sprouted already. Like, it’s really amazing. Just when I lost hope in them ever growing.
