I actually hate Lagos life. Too stressful and sometimes hard to break even due to the high cost of living.
I have resided in all S/W state for a minimum of 1yr.
I was in Ibadan last year and ordered a taxi, he charged me 800 for a trip u can compare with Ikorodu to Ikeja. Madam was still trying to bargain, i just smiled and gave him 1k. He was very happy.
My plan is to hustle in Lag for the next 5yrs, expand my business tentacles to Ibadan or Ogun and relocate immediately.

Working in Lagos means waking up at 5 am.. Earlier for some..and you'll meet crowd outside. Traffic is terrible and a wild game that will raise your bp. Rents are high
However entertainment and lifestyle are the best..hotels, clubs, pubs...suya .. Shawarma etc fine girls ..interesting beer jist..etc
As I said a rich mans playground. If you have a good salary in Lagos make sure u buy land and build as much as you can. If not you're better off outside and try and raise money to do the same so you can join the party. Me when I go to Lag now it's just to chill and I'm grateful .. My area is ok I can drink and blaze with friends..I hardly leave my zones..
a great tool in Lagos is a powerbike ..I had one and it really beats traffic.. But u must be careful.
No where like las gidi but u must know the game which is not to be tied to a daily commute source of income

You can work 30 years in Lagos without buying half plot sef, blame it on the system. Everything is utterly expensive from feeding, accomodation and transportation.

You meant privately or publicly sourced water? If by the private option, a borehole that is well dug contains clean water regardless of the area. I admit Nigeria Government is very shabby with their utility services, but such upscale abode is always exempt of such disservice. I have d presumption that if public service is poor, most people would make a leverage of such latent business prospect!

After we finished school most people moved to cities like Lagos and Abuja after graduation but some stayed back in the east to pursue their careers and business. Fast forward to five years after. 99% of us that went to Lagos or Abuja had not settled down with a wife and were sweating to pay city rent.
