Good morning guys, I want to make a payment to Fanshawe via flywire but flywire exchange rate is 410 to the naira? Is that the new rate? I checked on aboki fx and it was still 282-290. Please what other mediums can I use to make Payment?
just checked now. It definitely has to be some mistake on thier end. Because that exchange rate na madness

Admission will be cancelled. I have to reapply again
Why don’t you defer the admission to 2021. When your visa comes out in between, you can apply to other schools that their resumption is winter or spring. Or you wait till Sept than reapplying and not guaranteed admission.

My thoughts!

Hi,
With a 2.5 CGPA , u are not eligible for Masters, Minimum requirements for Masters in Canada is 2nd class Upper

The only alternative u av is to go for a Post Graduate Certificate (PGC) or a PGD course related to ur Bachelor's degree so as to av a career progression

Good luck!!!!

Thanks for your response. If I do go for a PGC or PGD course will I later be eligible for a masters course?

U r welcome, It is not mandatory for every university in Canada, it all depends on what each Universities ask for. Different Universities with different Admission requirements & Admission Process. U might need to visit the school website to confirm if the transcript required for Admission is a WES-Evaluated transcript or otherwise, and if u are not sure, send a mail to the international department of that school and that your desired department.

For instance, this is what University of Saskatchewan has to say about Transcripts. Find the attachments below..
Thanks for your valuable response. God bless , it's Johnson shoyama graduate school , operated by U of S and university of Regina

For those asking for when biometrics would resume just put your hopes up for Next month .
June is out of it

That's not true. Ghana is starting Biometrics on Monday 15th. Its very likely Nigeria VAC will start before the end of the month. My best guess is 22nd June. A day after the inter-state lockdown is expected to end.

What IRCC announced is the extension of the earlier announcement that you cannot do your study permit application via paper submission until 30 June.

Good morning everyone,

I have been admitted into brandon university for bachelor of business administration, but based on advise from here, post graduate diploma in business administration or business management will be better.

I tried to apply to langara college, it seems the course is full for January 2021 intake.

The other option is fanshawe, but I was told I have to apply via agents, on the school page, application fee cost 100CAD but agents are charging #50,000, #100,000 the last one said #150,000 . How do one byepass this?.

Cc : naijaforeigner , frank and many more. Thanks

There are several colleges you can get admission into without using an agent. You can give those schools a try.

However, if you still decide on going with Fanshawe, tell those agents you got the list from the International office and the school specifically asked you to pay $100 for admission.

Some agents will ask you to pay registration fees. The total you should pay to any agent (registration + admission) should not be more than 50k naira. When you get your study permit, Fanshawe will refund your $100.

Once it is above 50K naira, just try another school.

Is it still possible to apply to schools at this time and follow up with the Visa processing for fall 2020 or I should wait till next year?

Thanks boss. An agent agreed #50,000. But I was told by the agent that I am not qualified as the lowest accepted degree is second class lower. I had 3rd class.

Thanks.

Hello house, I already got an admission to University of Winnipeg. This would be my first time applying to Canada. My question is, is it a good idea to wait till vfs opens before I apply for my study permit or it is advisable I apply now? I’m thinking of using the money for the application and medicals to do other important things until vfs opens, since no approval decision can be made yet due to the pandemic. The admission is for winter next year..
??

See the school that said students can be given case by case basis doesn't even want to extend my deadline. Why are this guys not considerate at all. I will now have to extend to next year September 2021 when only Biometrics remain. I am not happy at all.

Sorry bro, why not apply to another school?
