It is use to feed chicken with it in your farm ur Poultry feed can be cut down to let say 50%

Today is their 7th day some are maturing from larvae form to pupae

I encourage my fellow Nairaland who are really into Poultry and fish farming to also go into maggot farming am sure you guys will thank me later. If before now you spend thousands of naira on their feeding with maggot your spending will be cut down to hundreds just give it a tryer

maggot farming is way to go in this era. Thanks for creating this much needed thread

We all generate a lot of waste every day in our kitchens but for me, I do not dump it. I use it to feed my insects.”

The flies feed on any food remains from kitchen, “They like fruits waste compared to food remains such as potato peelings. They like them moist and fresh. I collect the kitchen waste for three days and put in their house.”

A single black soldier fly hatches between 300 and 600 eggs at once,noting that they multiply faster.

When the fly is ready to lay eggs, i covers the structure with a carton so that i can lay eggs in dark areas. The eggs are usually a white and brown in colour.
I then wait patiently for 4 days then they have manifest to larvae which I use to feed my chicken and fish with they like it alot I bet you within 3 month my cockerel and local chicken have grown beyond imagination for more enquire this is my contact number 08069150811
