It is called white wedding for a reason.

Black lives are conditioned to feel incomplete unless their lives are validated with something Caucasian.

It is the fact of life.

Who else believe that if the Bible was written in this our generation it won't be same with the way it was written. A lot of factors were put into consideration during the writing of the religious book. Some were cultural believes, as well as social behavior of those people who live at that time. I read a shocking revelation of why Pork meat was considered haram during when those religious books were written and I just thank God for what we currently have in our disposal now in terms of technology.

How is it anyone's business whether it is an European style of wedding and whatnot? How does it affect any of you as a person? Even Reno talking did an elaborate white wedding so what gives? If you don't want to copy the whites anymore, do not be selective in your reasoning na, let's do away with education because it was brought by whites, lets all go back to the village and learn about our history and cultural heritage, everybody should kuku be wearing their native attire, burn your english wears, do away with shoes and walk barefoot, na whites make us know wetin dem dey call "shoe", in fact, stop speaking english, na white people language, start speaking your native language lets all be looking at ourselves like aliens since we wont understand each other, nonsense.

Na wedding una go dey carry for head because some people own better pass your own, rubbish.

What he has said is the complete truth. I am a Christian and I do say this. That is why fornication is costly because marriage is cheap. In the presence of two or three witness, the truth is established. That’s all you need. Once the parents have consented to the union, it is marriage. You are asked to bring your wife home, not to the church. However, I still encourage white weddings and the feast we do. The Bible says we should enjoy our life. So whatever we can do to enjoy our life as long as it goes with the doctrines of the scriptures, we are allowed to do it.

Did someone mention Terrorists there? Terrorists are evil people who also go to the mosque but they are not Muslims, just as you and I go to the Mosques and the Churches but we are also chronic sinners.

The Islamic religion is more confusing than the Christian religion. Alfa will read both the Bible and the Quran. How many pastors read Quran and bible together? None...because the Bible is complete but Quran needs further interpretation from the Bible

Because of the greed of these miracles merchants alot of willing couples are unable to marry as a result of so many conditionalities imposed by these business centers.
They will check if you are habitual tither before they will release other expenses and conditions to sanction your wedding.
The result from all these is community donors everywhere.

They brainwashed African Christians.

So what does your father do? Nowhere is it written that a representative of God must bless a marriage. And no where did God say he blessed Adam and Eve. Eve wasn't in the original plan of God. Instead God looked on the things he has created and said, it was good.

You should endeavour to read your bible often.

The representatives of God in a wedding are the parents of the couple, not anyone called Pastor, priest et al.

No blessing is greater than the parents’ blessings.

God was the father of Adam and blessed them himself, going by your analogy. He didn’t call on any angel to come as his representative to bless them

I once told that guy not to comment on every thread. Many times he says trash with so much confidence that you find it difficult to agree with him when he makes sense.

Personally, the ‘real’ marriage for me is a civil one not traditional or religious. However, I am not going to begrudge or judge Christians on how they wish to practice their faith.

For those citing Jesus at a wedding, Christianity didn’t exist then, Jesus participated in Jewish customs and attended a wedding ceremony that was probably Jewish.

Each religion have their way of joining two couples and those that practice said faith should be allowed to follow such practices without judgement.

I know for Catholics, a priest blessing your marriage is important, it’s one of the sacraments a Catholic observes while they’re on earth, the last one is death.

How is dis sacrament important to a Catholic who choose not to marry...

You didn't make sense

Even after Christianity existed none of the Apostles blessed any marriage in the Scripture, was that an oversight?

At best your Church leader can attend the traditional marriage and bless it there, that's exactly what I did. No time to feed unnecessary multitude twice, looking back am happier for it.
I didn’t say you have to spend to have a religious wedding.

If someone believes or their faith dictates their marriage has to be blessed by a religious leader, then let them be, that’s their faith.
