My agenda will be security, economy diversification and power stability.

1. I will reform the police force. The requirements to enter into the force will be strict academically, their dress code, physical appearance and armoury will be appealing. They will be well paid and zero tolerance to bribery and corruption will be set in place.

2. With a standardized police force, the judiciary will be standardized in a way everyone will be held accountable for his/her wrong doings irrespective of your social status and political influence.

3. Improve power generation and distribution to aid reduce cost of production. Power will be subsidised for manufacturing firms. The subsidy will be paid using the company's audited financial statement on production and sales values because if this values are forged upwards, it will increase the amount of TAX payable by the firm which is a win for the government.

4. Diversify the economy by investing in agriculture and solid mineral mining. Will also increase the tax and vat payable for luxury items whose cost value is above #100 million.

5. Invest in rail and water ways transportation and mandate some forms of goods to be transported through these means only in other to curtail the volume of road accidents caused by tankers and trailers.

Constitutional review and amendment with the following in place:

1. Reduction of statutory allocations to the executive.
2. Merging of most ministries.
3. Merging of states that have become economic burdens.
4. Decentralization of government.
5. Reduction of allocation to states. With autonomy means every state must generate at least 60 percent of its budget.
6. Ministerial heads and other appointments must come from a pool of the best brains, which will be tested via written exams, interviews, and submitted proposals.

I will visit Putin in Russia.
Russia Air Force will destroy all Insurgency in the country and our Military will mop the remaining elements up.
Russia will build three refineries for Nigeria and revive Ajaoukuta Steel back.
NHS become compulsory for all Nigerians
East is the way out for Nigeria. The west will never solve our problem.
Russia has all the Technology to solve our problem and we have the population to make it happen

Your suggestions all look very good and well articulated; but I can't help but notice that one fantastic exaggeration which makes it all look like the typical beautiful empty promises of Nigerian politician - 3000 miles of roads and 1500 miles of railways every year!! Do you have an idea how much it would cost to do just that and how exactly are you going to raise the funds for all these? Even Britain which is 100 times richer than Nigeria cant achieve that feat in 4 years.

Yes the projections are lofty but it's not impossible. In fact China builds 6000km of road every year, and I believe a country like Nigeria needs an aggressive approach towards infrastuctural development. It is not a secret that Nigeria and that in fact most african nations are far behind in this regard. I'd want to set Nigeria apart and possibly open a new frontier as to what's possible on the continent. Tackling this particular issue of lack of road and rail infrastructure will open the economy to wild opportunities. It'll turn Nigeria into a haven for retail giants like Amazon, Walmart, Apple, Automobile companies and list goes on. If we do well, It'll expose new business opportunities for local civil engineering firms in neighboring countries and beyond.

its not that easy bro

If it is imaginable, then It can be done, especially something that's not out of the ordinary.
It is easy in the sense that, when a government has a focus, and targets, it develops a strategy to get the ideas accross in such a way that it permeates every instution not in an overbearing way of course. And that's what power is. Ability to do get things done. We just have a government that's reeked with filthy disgusting leeches sadly, empowered by the ignorance of so many and in return they continue to abuse the agencies at their disposal for less than sub-optimal undertakings.

you made a lot of sense sir, but i dont think decentralising the police force or state policing will have any positive effect. We are not yet ripe for it, governors will abuse it.e.g rivers state governor

I see where you're coming from, but I want you to look at it from this angle. I believe Instutions should be set up in ways that'll would always allow their full expression. This is where laws/policies/checks and balance play immense roles.
Anyone who went to primary school in Nigeria at some point learned about "division of labor". Dividing up the work often leads to great output, even life, biologically follows this principle.

This is what I think Policing should look like
Town/City/Municipal Police - LG Police - State Police - Federal Police
At each level - A Jury of citizens acts as the check.
If democracy is a government of, by, and for the people, then it should reflected in every instution glaringly.

Nice overall, but at the bolded/coloured--if I understand your meaning--logistically that seems inefficient, as different companies will have to run parallel services to the same areas, which will increase their distribution costs, and therefore the costs to the customer, competition or not.
Where I'm living, power generation and distribution is kind of an arm's length corporation of the government, with the mandate to generate sufficient power to meet demand, keep it on, and keep it affordable. Yes, it receives subsidies if necessary. But power is 24/7 unless a storm knocks a line down. A different model, but it's working.

That's interesing. I was looking at it from supply and demand viewpoint, but you're right it might necessarily work in this space.
Who knows how innovation in solar technology would change how power is distributed in the not so distant future. In fact, homes will be able to engage in power-sharing in the future. Something I just got to know about a week or so ago.

Of course we're all aware of the benefits of these things. But like I said before, even Britain which is 100 times richer than Nigeria cant achieve that feat in 4 years. You havent still explained how you're going to raise the funds for these massive projects, except you'd be borrowing 10 times more than what Bubu plans to borrow.

Words that cheer the heart. Neighbourhood solar power generation, community grids, do not require waiting and waiting for government and big distribution companies to organize themselves. They do require cooperation and contracts among neighbours. But think of the local power independence. Well worth following up on, further!

1, TWO SENATORS FROM EACH STATE. ONE FROM THE NORTH AND ONE FROM THE SOUTH OF THE STATE.

2, FOUR REPRESENTATIVES, TWO FROM THE NORTH AND TWO FROM THE SOUTH.

3, THE LEGISLATORS WILL EARN SALARIES AND ALLOWANCES EQUIVALENT TO THAT OF PERMANENT SECRETARIES.

Stop writing rubbish online...VENEZUELA (and even Cuba) is 1000 times better than Nigeria!!!!!

As someone who has been to Venezuela twice (the last time less than a year ago), I can tell you without a shadow of doubt that, although some part of Venezuela is bad, AT LEAST THEY HAVE 24HS ELECTRICITY (all over the country) FREE EDUCATION AND FREE HEALTHCARE (same with Cuba) thus making it better than Nigeria IMHO
