This is a motion ex parte that was granted pending the determination for the motion on notice to be heard tomorrow. Court cannot stop a person from contesting a primary. Supreme court has affirmed this.

The belief is that Shaibu is the man behind him politically.
They don't trust Shaibu.

Again, the Guber ticket is expected to go to Central, Shaibu is North.
Tomorrow, he will start saying there is no zoning and all that.

They still feel Obaseki's loyalty is to APC and Buhari. His only issue is with Adams.... that's it.

That is the truth.that obaseki I see loves buhari.he still has a thing for APC.and if obaseki wins, nothing will stop shuaibu from getting the pdp ticket in 2024.that is what ayade is doing here.so obaseki has 2 difficult choices and I can't put myself in his situation and imagine what I'll do because I won't be in such a situation. I can't have a godfather and if I do,I'll never betray him

obaseki will participate in the primary election on Friday and you will see him there.

The order of the court remains only to grant accelerated hearing and substituted serving of the court process on Obaseki and others.
The court did not stop Obaseki from participating in the primaries of his new party.
Their will be an hearing on the 24th,where the party(PDP) can ask the order be vacated as plaintiff can't dictate to his party's NWC. As no court can adjudicate on that.

That is what Wike intends to do in terms of locking him down.
Orbih and Denwigwe were PDP's lawyers for Wike v Peterside in 2015.

I don't betray loyalty myself...so it is difficult for him...tbh
Unfortunately, it is his choice to make.

Obaseki,

This PDP admission is a scam after a N6b admission and clearance, now jamb (court) now saying you did not make the cut of mark.

Please call falana. Lawyer for the fugitives

I have been monitoring comments. Satirically, you mentioned Falana. Though it was a joke, the present Judiciary is something else. We have witnessed so many things and yet men of experience and exposure keep silent. Experienced legal luminaries just have to keep quiet or risk being sanctioned. Citations, references, technicalities and deep reasoning are now just MERE ACADEMIC EXERCISE. So, all the postulations, meditations and quality argument by some people here may just be an exercise in futility, nobody knows any outcome.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2016/04/lg-elections-apc-extends-sales-nomination-forms-adamawa/amp/
.that one is extension different from it elapsing and then you restart selling.look at ondo case, sale of forms was just extended.if sales of form closed yesterday and you start selling again tomorrow,it is illegal subject to court ruling..

If so,what is the purpose of setting timetable for screening and sale of form? Why not do so indefinitely? Parties must stand by their guidelines except they don't have one.they must be a deterrence

You are suppose to know how our political parties behave.
They can adjust until thine kingdom come.
The reason they behave themselves is because of INEC deadline.

Like the argument on whether INEC's 7 day notice is mandatory and all that.....it was explained by Okoye....

This is not a course for concern at all, since it is in the PDP constitution to grant waiver to aspirants that have not stayed in the party for two years, Obaseki should go to another federal High court in another state and file for "stay of execution" for him to participate in the primaries coming up on Thursday.
After the primary he can then go to appeal court to file a substantive suit for the case

The case is not about giving waiver. It is about Obaseki buying the nomination for and screening after the deadline has elapsed.
And that’s what the court will rule on tomorrow.
