I attended the interview on 3/6/2020. I was shortlisted for a training on my job. I thank God I didn't listen to negative people on nairaland about the organisation.
I have been looking for job for the past three years since I finished my NYSC. Things has not been easy for me and my family. I blessed God I attended and was selected. I'm now a Business Development Associate at ELYTETC.

I want to appreciate the management especially the R.M.D for this opportunity sir. The lord continue to bless Elyte Entrepreneur.

My advice to applicant is that never allow people's opinion about an organisation become your reality because some people are so negative in their think just BCS they were not selected they will try to discourage other from getting the Job.

When you get an invite for an interview, the first thing is to go through their website to know more about the organization and what they stand for. Elyte Entrepreneurship Training consult, recruit only business minded people who are ready to remove themselves from poverty and also people who are ready to impact other people's life positively. We train people on how to develop and start up businesses for themselves and for the organization. You can't give what you don't have, that's the reason major reason for the training. We don't ask you to pay before getting a job. You are paying for resource materials that will help and guide you in your field and also to be able to function well in your department. If you feel you can't afford the material, you leave. Nobody is forcing you to pay for the materials. Please let's be guided and stop spoiling the image of an organization that has been in existence for 11years. If the organization is a scam as some of you have claimed, the organization will not be in existence by now.

I got the invitation like 4 times in the month of May, I was skeptical about it. I was working from home at the same time applying for jobs for a better pay since most of our salary was reduce due to the pandemic.

I went through their website, then I went through the comments here on nairaland. The comments here made me conclude that they were scammers since few people or probably some of their personnel spoke well about them. Thank God to my wife who told me to go and check to see if it's true and not to make decisions based on people's comment. On the 12th of May, I went for the interview and they were about 23 of us in the hall. I was biased about the process because I have never gone through that kind, that is, after the interview there was an orientation, that is what they called it. About 16 of us were in for the orientation, 7 persons were disqualified during the interview stage. All of this I observed careful, just to be on a safer side.

The following day, I received a message inviting me for a training on the 14th, that was on a Thursday. The training I received I will tell you I have never received such in my 6years working experience or even in my life. I got home very happy my wife was surprised, the following day I went to resign from where I was working. I started working official with Elyte May ending. I will tell you entrepreneurship is the future of Nigeria if only they open their mind to it. There are many opportunities out their most especially in the area of agriculture and health. This opportunity I have seen has really paved way to other opportunities. I am barely 3 weeks old in Elyte, but the trainings I get is one in a million.

My advice to some who cares to hear, never base your decisions on other people's opinions. You have a mind of your own, decisions are what you make for yourselves not what others make for you, if I had listened to what I read here I swear I will still be were I was.

In fact, this Friday that just passed we had a Zoom meeting at the office with other of its branches. I swear this company will not seize to surprise me. I am so glad I am here.

Nosnitching:

What is scam? A scam is a dishonest scheme or a fraud. I'm sure u didn't know that. It's funny how an organisation that is a fraud will operate for 11 years without being shut down by the government despite all the negative reviews people like you give on nairaland. When did paying for a training become a scam? Tony Elumelu did an entrepreneurship program, was it free? I guess that was a scam too, right? The training was to prepare your head for the task ahead if eventually you become a partner with the organisation as a Business Associate. You pay electricity bill for light you didn't use, why didn't you come out here on nairaland and call PHCN or whatever it is a scam(how can you pay for a service that was not rendered)?. People work together when it suits them, they are loyal when it suits them, they love each other when it suits them, and they kill each other when it suits them. That is the way of the world so comments from people like you is nothing to cry about. Elyte Consulting is a legitimate organization registered with CAC(I guess you will want to see the reg number as well) right? Hahahahahaha help yourself Grace and stop dragging people down your negative lane. Check-out www.elytetc.com to know more and keep quiet. Best regards!
You will do well in IELTS. Superb skills

I got invite to attend interview before the lockdown in the company, after I google about them I decided to give it a trial which I didn't regret till today, PLS Never base your decision on other people's Opinions
...you complaining about paying for the material, just swallow your pride that you don't have the money rather than saying negative things about the company. If u want to apply for police force/ immigration form don't you pay for the form online why don't you call that a scam. You or ur parent pay for the NEPA bill that you don't use isn't that a scam.
You attended University u paid school fees, how was ur experience in the school.
The training changed my thinking bout life.. ask yourself how many years will you work for people and you will gather 60million to buy a house..

Saving 1million a year without touching your salary it will take you 60yrs to save up.. why not embrace Entrepreneur and change your story for good.. pls don't be a hypocrite to say bad thing about the company that has been in existence for 11 solid years... Minus it from your age..
Am glad I never listened to naysayers .

One of the major problems Nigerian youths have these days is that you ask to many questions and believe anything you hear without actually finding out for your self if its genuine or not. You got an invite for an interview with the company website attached to it yet you didn't attend becoz of a negative remark.hmm this is Nigeria and last Time I checked a company cannot function for 11 years if it isn't properly registered. From the name Elyte entrepreneur training center it is self explanatory. If you are not interested in learning how to develop yourself and start up a buisness it's ok but don't come on this forum to mislead other Nigerians. I have been working as a business development associate with Elyte since 2018 so I advice you to banter words carefully. How can you claim your want to work as a business development associate and you not ready to invest in yourself? The payment required is for resource material containing all you learned during your training and more. some companies require a medical checkup which is quite expensive. If you are not ready to invest knowledge in yourself please keep quite and do what your parents did which is work for someone until you retire and when you are on your sixties, keep complaining how unfair the government, weather, your life is. Elyte is for buisness minded people. Stay informed.

U don't judge people or organization from afar if you really want to know anything all u need to do is to go close. I got an invite from elytetc enterpreuership training center November 2019 and since then my life change. Elytetc is for serious minded people who are ready to personally develop themselves ,build business from scratch and succeed in life. For your information 5000 you are asked to pay is for your resources material and not to get the job please let be guided. If u really want to build business of the 21st century then come if not keep submitting your CV but I will advise you to stop condemning the organization because the company is legit

I remembered when I got my invitation in June 2019,I didn't bother checking nairaland because I believe everyone is a master of his/her own decisions.I quickly checked the company website and I was good to go. Elytetc enterpreuership training center is for people who have a clear goal and direction.Dnt mislead others because you where not qualified.

Y on earth will a company be asking for money from people they want to employ. I told them I don't have the 5k they demand I should pay without even knowing what my job description is or the pay. They ask me if there is anyone I can call to send me the money. As in their desperation for the money they want to collect from me self made me know these people are just looking for money

It was a rather awful experience today. I've never been turned off like that in my entire life. I got an interview invite from Elyte entrepreneurship training consult as a business development associate on Wednesday. Though i never remember vividly if i applied for the job but I know i have applied for countless job online.
However, i went for the interview which i passed and got another invite informing me I've been shortlisted for training. I was happy that it was a good news.
I went for the training, on getting there, we were addressed by their acclaimed head of HR. Amidst that we were called into their hall and i was told to pay a sum of 5k for the training resource material. They never gave us any prior notice about any payment whatsoever. I told them i didn't have the money but they told me they will have to reschedule my training till further dates until i get the money. I was asked to go back home. I was furious.
My argument is not based on whether elyte is a scam or not but they should come out straight about their intentions. We don't know if they have any job to offer or they are just an entrepreneurship training firm. I expect they should explicitly clarify their mission instead of misleading thousands of job seekers with their ambiguity. I had to waste my time, effort and money due to their inadequacy.
Many of their purported employees and beneficiary are quick to defend themselves. I believe if you are real, your deeds will speak for you. I doubt the authenticity of the company cos i ain't sure it's a registered company.
One thing i believe is that nemesis is certain. If their intent is to mislead and defraud the masses, they will surely get their recompense but if they are for real, may God help them.
People want financial freedom, that's why they are looking for job but it's so disheartening if you keep demanding money from them to get trained when they have not even got the job. It's expected you train them for free. What image are you portraying since you claim your mission is to reduce the rate of unemployment in Nigeria?

I believe yesterday when you came you were told coming back for the training is not that you have been automatically selected by the company, in which the message for your preselection clearly states that, ONLY Qualified candidates that are ok with the terms and conditions of company will proceed to be trained. We believe in working with serious minded people not only people who have excuses for their misfortune...it is called SELECTION not QUALIFICATION...and no matter what any of you will say here, nothing will change the rules of the company whether or not you have been preinformed or not. You don't need to like like process.. anything you don't pay for can't be valued... I don't understand why you run here to rant like you don't understand that you are not been forced to do anything against your wish. The selection is to remove people like you from the training session because people that have your kind of mentality can't function here... As for me, training materials or not, ELYTE STILL REMAINS THE BEST COMPANY to me, they help me find my purpose and value my time and invest it rightly in getting a better tomorrow...#ENTERPRENUERS
Miss /Mrs Olabaje, let me tell you a legit company that does that "inviting you multiple times even when you are not interested" like you said in your comment. One out of many is UNION BANK. In 2018 I attended an interview at Union bank broad street mariner Lagos, I went there through a consulting firm called PHILIPS OUTSCOURCING, am sure you know Union Bank abi? I passed the interview but refused to go back because I realized it was a marketing job and I can't do marketing for a company, I'd rather do it for my own business. Those guys called me more than 5 times asking me to come and finalize my appointment even after telling the polite lady on the phone that I was no longer disposed. Does that make Union Bank a scam? The answer is NO but I guess to someone like you who fills getting invited multiple times by an organization symbolizes that company as a scam would label Union Bank a scam as well. Listen: you are submitting CV all over the internet because you need a job so expect to get invited several times even to one location. Elyte Consult is a firm, credible, and legitimate organization with a CAC reg number operating for 11 wonderful years of impacting people's lives so keep quiet, stop submitting CV up and down and visit www.elytetc.com to know more. Best regards!

What do you call desperation. Firstly, can your 5k make a difference in any organization. And you were vividly told that the money was for your training materials. The first day you came, you we’re told you would be invited for a training. Now every company has their own procedures so stop comparing. Have we not once upon a time gone for trainings and seminars before that all they gave you was a book to write and a biro and we paid some ridiculous amount, well if not you, I have a several times but I never spoke ill about those seminars because I wanted to gain more knowledge. In becoming an entrepreneur there are traits one must posses which is investing in things and most importantly your knowledge. No one asked you to give the company any amount but it was clearly stated that you will be getting some materials, which is reasonable to me. If you have a library that you read to expand your knowledge then this wouldn’t be a discussion or an argument. Therefore please understand a reason first before saying anything, because the day I joined them, I know it’s their process but I can tell you today I have earned more than that money you think is a big deal. A lot of people want to succeed but not all can succeed, and people who really want knowledge can exchange anything for that.

In my own opinion i think if you're getting more invites from the company it simply means you're still applying for that same job position my advice is just stop applying that's all also the organization is a well structured organization with there missions and visions started clearly and if am interested in working with the organisation so be it i understand that Nigeria graduates don't like the word entrepreneur but trust me even the so called govt have told us that people will loose there jobs so I think elite entrepreneurship training consult are a team of people trying to see how they can help the masses in reducing the unemployment in the country by training and developing young people how they can start to build there future for themselves have gone through there website and have also been there as well the training was fantastic and am proud to say working with them has been wonderful i also understand that an average Nigerian graduates don't like training but the truth is if am not trained how do i develop myself and are you also aware that people pay huge amounts of money just to attend trainings no wonder they're growing and developing so pls you just stay off rather than painting a good organization bad here Elite Entrepreneurship Training Consult is a great place to be also if you can't invest in yourself there's no way you can succeed in life

Nigerian Youths are calling Entrepreneurship a scam. well when I got the invitation to be honest I thought it was a scam based on what I read here so I was confused positive comments and negative comments. I decided to go for the interview. i dont scam people though at times people scam me but i can not pay them back evils. let me clear the air. this company is not giving you a job but its going to give you what you make you become an entrepreneur and build your own business. which can make you employ people as well. And you know to start up a business requires money. so going for the interview is not by force. its for people who have a business mindset. And its a matter of choice. if you like call me a scammer i dont care what people think about me. I rest my case

Binnax, it seems clearly that you are not a focus person, u get easily distracted. I don't understand what you mean that you didn't get the job description during the HR session. Is it not the same interview I attended some weeks back. The job description was clearly stated on the slide and I don't understand what you mean by paying 5k for a job. Who does that? Definitely, not Elyte Entrepreneur, I never paid 5k for a job. It was basically for a resource material. I was given the resource material after I pass my defence. Those material has helped me in relating to the company's client and also help me to understand my job better so I don't lose credible company's client. Personally, I'm that kind of person that don't like bothering or pestering pple. Those material has been a reference point especially when I meet difficulty client. I also got a free certification along with it which the expenses was incurred by the organisation. Binnax I think you gave those negative comments just to discourage other people because u didn't get the job so they can call you back right. Anyway I repeat I never paid 5k for a job but a resource material. God bless Elyte Entrepreneur, the past few weeks has been lovely, thanks for the training and the amazing people I work with. For more info visit the company websites.
Never be clouded by what people say take the extra mile by checking it out yourself just as I did.

Did anybody observe anything? Most of the people defending them just signed up on nairaland between May and June this year. Of course, the purpose is to get as many to debunk this scam discovery.

In my case, I observe the desperation of trying to get 5k from me. My friends that we all went together also observed it. I do not have to start stating what I observed here.

If Elyte is an Entrepreneurial training centre, why not state it rather than deceiving ppl that its a job for BDA. Besides, let ppl know from the outset that they will pay for a material as they come so that they do not spend 2days on training thereafter you present a cost to a material they may not like to have. Its not about if the 5k can make a difference in the organization, 5k can make a difference in some peoples lives. So don't just call it 5k.
They problem here is not about the training or the 5k, its about telling ppl what they re going into firsthand and state it in your SMS and e-mails

Elyte should be specific. Do not give people the impression that its a job when it's a training venture.

There won't be need getting ppl to sign up on nairaland to defend. Good and sincere work speaks. Let your WORK speak not EXPLANATIONS!!!

What is defamation of character here. People re entitled to how they feel. Someone is telling you that you keep sending invites to them when they did not apply and they re not comfortable with it. What professionals do is to apologize about the mix up and clear it from their system.

Lets learn to take feedbacks well. If there are reason making people to believe otherwise, deal with it. For how long will you people continue to explain here? What about those who would rather inform people verbally. Elyte....pls go back to your drawing board and correct every misconception if you re really legit. Goodluck!

No one should fall for any of these gibberish. This firm isn't one with an iota of integrity. Thousands of unemployed nigerians have been through hell with this lot. See how they're creating and using multiple monikers here to portray themselves as a sincere organization on NL. It's easy to know if they're genuine or not; just take the firm's name and put on the search box on either Nairaland, LinkedIn or even Twitter, you'll see for yourself.

I can see that the agent of elytec company or whatever they are called are much here, not surprised about that because that is how scammers do. Why on earth will you tell people to pay for training, it is so uncalled for, Legit company doesn't do that before giving out jobs, please help me tell all your HR to stop sending mail to me again, or else i will go extra miles to publish them. Thanks

I Don't understand why you guys are so myopic and disenfranchised in foresight.
I never paid 5k for Job, I paid 5k for a resource materials plus a verified certification.
Now my Salary has been paid to my surprise even before month end. If pple were to listen to you haters and you disoriented individual, one would loose blessings of life.
Elyte is God blessings to me and my family

TheCvBank:
No one should fall for any of these gibberish. This firm isn't one with an iota of integrity. Thousands of unemployed nigerians have been through hell with this lot. See how they're creating and using multiple monikers here to portray themselves as a sincere organization on NL. It's easy to know if they're genuine or not; just take the firm's name and put on the search box on either Nairaland, LinkedIn or even Twitter, you'll see for yourself.
you got the drill...

I have been wondering why there are so much criticism about Elyte. True, Elyte does not act as every other organizations. If you have ever worked in a place before you will understand the normal process, you are being enticed by such organizations and you are made comfortable while you achieve nothing for yourself just experience. Many of us are and were in that situation. Imagine you working for 6yrs and you can't say this is what I have achieve. The only things I achieved was getting suits and shoes for myself. The little time I have spent here I see myself going far, I am learning something new everyday.

Elyte is an entrepreneurship firm that builds you, gives you a skill and brings out characters that you never knew you had. It also gives you a platform to build something of your own while you are working with them, something that other organizations do not support if you really understand what I am saying.

If you want to work as a Business Development Associate with Elyte, you need to have an entrepreneurial mindset. As an entrepreneur, you need to take risk. How do they know that you are a risk taker, if you can't invest in yourself. You feel you are paying for a job, rubbish. The truth about it is that you are not a risk taker, you feel you are being scammed. A company that has a building, you can access them, you can recognize its staffs anywhere, I wonder what you are being scammed of, probably your time. For those of you that couldn't pay for the material and you come here lamenting, you are not appreciative at all. Even if you couldn't pay for the material, the training you recieved should at least geared you to building something of your own or starting up something even if you do not want to work with Elyte, but because most of you came there to just see based on what you seen here, you tend to ignore every other thing you hear. I thank God for my wife, if not I would be like everyone of you here lamenting too.

May God continue to bless Elyte for this opportunity together with those who are interested to work with them.

Nobody is against any training here. Read between the lines and inform your mgt. Let ppl be aware of what they re going into. Let them know they will be paying 5k for materials simple.

Let them be transparent that's ALL. Its their business what they decide to do, but let it be stated ab initio.
