Hunchogee:

For now islands only 2 can be accessible through vehicle though its won't be easy thos cos you may need a villager or anybody from Ibeno to direct you. The only one easily accessible is Okourutip island and its has a very long bridge that was suppose to help contruction company access the rest of the island..you can find pix below
But if you want to gain access to this island you need to islands in Ibeno then it will be easy for you.

To access the deep seaport again you need to travel from uyo to Ibeno bar bench in terminal then tell any body to take you to Okposu Island 1&2 ..again is not easy so access but is worth trying.

Buying any property for development I will advice you go the the ministry for lands and river Akwa Ibom state and inform them.

Awesome, I will approach the necessary people at Uyo to guide me to the location after the lockdown.

Thanks

With the arrival of ibom deep seaport, this and so many hidden treasures would be unveiled. However, the state by then, would have more capital for boundary course and developments. I want to personally thank you for your efforts. We need people like you now and, on the morrow to energizes the visions of our hero pass, our ancestors who in time pass has contributed to the reality that we experience today. With this same spirit, I'm also encouraging the state government to continue with the building of the International Worship Centre as it marks the true name of the state and her slogan. THE LAND OF PROMISE. AKWA ABASI IBOM (almighty God) STATE. Who knows tomorrow! may be this would be where the true sons and daughters of God will gather to sing praises and adorations to their God without being afraid of bullets and bombs. #mkpoamaachange

The problem is security. Without a secure Nation how can i take my family there. It will most likely be a journey of no return. If you are not kidnapped one could be robbed and even killed in the process. We must first secure the country. And all good thing will surely follow.

Sir in as much I knowledge your sentiment but my state is safe and secure ...Akwa Ibom people are not that negatively ambitious to that extent... we hardly commit crimes like that ...

@OP

It is very educative information. I have always had my eyes on those areas especially Opobo in Rivers State. However, it appears most of the pictures fixated on Ibeno not Ikot Abasi. Please correct me if I strayed.

If one nearby country starts dragging it with us like bakassi that's when you will see FG and state governments with their fire brigade approach begin to establish their presence

Mtchew
