Says a woman who didn't pick calls?
Her business was so important not to be closed to honour rhe burial of her husband, but she expected governor to go all the way to care for her when she didn't pick calls. Should the governor have left state affairs and headed to Lagos where her husband was being treated when she didn't pick calls?
The governor should just say he had a beef with the deceased nothing picking calls was just an excuse. Florence Ajimobi was present at her husband's funeral ,she doesn't have to close her business. Would you rather say that first bank closes their bank because they lost their CEO?

Don't mind that woman who felt she can be fooling peep around. If she truly love her late husband, she supposed to close shut down all Grandex store because all when the woman who FOODCO super market outlets were shut down for some days but Florence case seems different because of love of money

You're comparing a multinational company listed on stock exchange with lot of share holders to Florence's supermarket wholly onwed by her?

. Florence was at her husband's funeral or didn't she attend? So why should she shut down her business in the first? Why didn't the governor show concern when the deceased was in the hospital at least show your presence at hospital.

I personally think that on the day her late husband was buried, the LEAST she could do was close the store. The staff being on holiday that day is not too much to ask. What is even more weird is that it was on a Sunday. Why not just close it for that day?

Only a fool will close their business to honour a dead person. I am happy Africans are dumping the madness they started.

I'm telling you.. Spending millions on burial..
But when the person was alive barely spent anything to keep the person in good health

Lol!!!
It is either more oil and less fish or more fish and less oil: you cant gain both.

Hear what you just said. A governor should leave his state affairs and headed to hospital and see a man lying unconscious due to covid, even after the woman declined several calls?

When did we start visiting covid patients at hospital?

I ask, if it is no big deal that Florence opened her shop on sunday because closing her shop can't revive her husband, why is Makinde not visiting the hospital a big deal? Would that have revived Ajimobi?

You excused Florence for opening her shop on Sunday to run her business but expect Makinde to suspend his activities in Edo and come to Ibadan, even after sending his deputy?

Did Buhari visit hospital to see Abba Kyari while in hospital?

If bank cant shut down because a CEO dies, now tell me why Makinde should also shut down his party and state affairs becuase Ajimobi died.

Do u even know Makinde wasnt in Ibadan on sunday hence the reason sending his deputy?

Tell me, what's more important in state and party affairs and super market.

She doesn't run the shop.
Business ignorance is one of the reasons poverty is so widespread.

The poster even brought in his entitled and lazy mentality that workers should be paid for just being workers.

She owns it, more reason to honour her husband...

I really didn't want to belittle myself commenting on this matter as I have already said that a person in mourning may not act logically or rationally for a season but on this:

Culture or not, civilisation or not, it cannot be right if you cannot drop absolutely everything to honour your spouse of more than half your life for a single day. It is beyond comprehension. It is unimaginable.

The only reason why I will keep anything open and running that day is if it is an absolutely critical service or such closure will seriously damage the fortunes, reputation, safety or security of others. And this will only be after exhausting all other options in short order.

But to be selling provisions on the day your other half is laid to rest is just cold, stone cold. I will fire any manager who does that instantly for dishonouring me that way.... despite the fact I am 'de-traditionalised' and culturally inert.

Park well.

Florence Ajimobi is a Christian not Muslim.
However, a widow across religious divide must mourn the demise of her husband wholeheartedly.
Opening her supermarket is an height of disloyalty and wickedness .

she already mourned him all these while when Tinubu paid her to keep the dead man on life support just to hijack APC chairmanship

he died weeks ago

She converted. She's always been a coward
She never converted. She still attends church sometimes, but also joins her husband and his people, to celebrate their Muslim festivals. Many families do that.....

Does she bear a Muslim name? She still bears her Christian name, with pride!

The bone of contention is the fact that Makinde didn't show concern when Ajimobi was sick. He knew how to reach the family hence no excuse
